Quick & Steamy
Lady Hathaway's Indecent Proposal - Suza... Lady Hathaway's Indecent Proposal - Suzanna Medeiros

Lady Hathaway's Indecent Proposal is a fabulous historical romance by Suzanna Medeiros. Ms. Medeiros has provided readers with a well-written book populated with outstanding characters. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Miranda was forced to give up Edward when her parents convinced her to marry another. Edward is now the Earl of Sanderson and agrees with Miranda's proposition because the temptation to have her in his bed is great as is his need to show her what she threw away. Miranda and Edward's story is loaded with drama, humor and steamy sex. I enjoyed reading Lady Hathaway's Indecent Proposal and look forward to reading more from Suzanna Medeiros in the future. Lady Hathaway's Indecent Proposal is book 1 of the Hathaway Heirs Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Yours Until Dawn By Teresa Medeiros $1.99
Yours Until Dawn - Teresa Medeiros

Gabriel Fairchild's valor during battle earns him the reputation of hero, but costs him both his sight and his hope for the future. Abandoned by the fiancée he adored, the man who once walked like a prince among London's elite secludes himself in his family's mansion, cursing his way through dark days and darker nights.

Prim nurse Samantha Wickersham arrives at Fairchild Park to find her new charge behaving more like a beast than a man. Determined to do her duty, she engages the arrogant earl in a battle of both wit and wills. Although he claims she doesn't possess an ounce of womanly softness, she can feel his heart racing at her slightest touch. As Samantha begins to let the light back into Gabriel's life and his heart, they both discover that some secrets -- and some pleasures -- are best explored in the dark ...

Charming the Prince
Charming the Prince - Teresa Medeiros 3.5 stars

This was a re-read for me, but I had completely forgotten most of the story. The beginning was slow for me, the pace picking up after the "war" started between Bannor, Willow, and Bannor's unruly brood. I didn't like Bannor much; he is a very passive hero, letting his passel of kids walk all over him, as well as disrespect his wife. He got what he deserved after Willow and the children form an alliance against him. I did like Willow and felt a lot of sympathy for her. All she wanted was someone to give a crap about her, but none of the adults in her life were there for her when she was a child, and Bannor wasn't exactly a knight in shining armor - at first at any rate.

I thought this aged rather well, and recommend it for a lazy afternoon read.

Yours Until Dawn

¯_(ツ)_/¯

(lo agrego ahora porque me acuerdo de casualidad de que lo había leído ya hace meses)

A Year Without A Duke Box Set: Books 1-5
A Year Without A Duke Box Set: Books 1-5 - Genevieve Turner,Suzanna Medeiros,Jennifer Haymore,Sabrina Darby,Kate Pearce

Five different stories each written by five different authors. I was already a fan of most of them (this was my first read by Genevieve Turner) so I was very excited when these stories came out and I’m glad to say I was not disappointed.

Each story was unique and offered a different premise yet what I found most appealing about the set was the fact that they were all connected somehow, not only by a missing duke but by characters from one story showing up or just by being mentioned in another. It sort of kept the flow of the whole “who is the new duke?” going.

Although some stories were more sensual (for mature audiences) than others the core of them all was always romance.  Of course I liked some stories more than others and I’ve reviewed each story separately but I definitely recommend this box set (as a matter of fact I recommend reading as a whole set rather than separately) to any historical romance lover. 4 stars.

** I received a copy of this set from one of the authors in exchange for an honest review **
