That's Gross! (Turtleback School & Library Binding Edition)
That's Gross! - Crispin Boyer My niece thinks this book is just great! She likes me to read it to her, and she likes to read it on her own as well. It is pretty fascinating, but it's also a bit much for my nephew and me, and we can only handle it in small doses. It is gross, and he and I spend a lot of time on the "happy place" page.

This book is full of pictures, bright colors, and text that is clearly aimed at middle to older elementary grades. I frequently trip over the occasionally tongue twister text, and honestly, I find that that decreases my (for lack of a better term) "enjoyment" of this book. The book is well done, but it's tough for those of a sensitive disposition.

Soulless - Gail Carriger This is such a fun book to read. I loved it! This is my second time reading it and I enjoyed it so much more the second time around. I think it has something to do with my history studies at the moment. Learning all about the Victorian era. I wanted to re read it before reading the second one because I didn't really remember the story. I love the supernatural law in the world that has been created. I think the concept of a preternatural is so unique and has the potential to create some great story lines.

Bulldog - Dog Fancy Magazine I read very few reference books cover-to-cover but this is a must read for English Bulldog owners, especially first-timers! Packed full of information on how to maintain a happy, healthy, well socialized, and good mannered bulldog. The book also contains a look at the origins of the bulldog, along with famous bulldogs throughout history. This reference guide has it all! There is also a great resource section in the back with links to various websites for further information. And of course, I have to mention all the adorable pictures! What's not to love?? They're so darn ugly you can't help but think they're cute!! Well worth the read!

What will happen in the future, when intelligent computers learn to bridge the gap between what humans need and what multi-material printers can make? The result will be next-generation design software, or what I like to call a "matter compiler."
