The huge point here is that this is a soldier/thriller story with gay characters, not gay characters having a story.
It is so refreshing to read Sarah Black, to see real men doing real guys’ stuff, and who, as an aside, also are gay.
So refreshing that the main focus isn’t on the being gay, no, rather, it’s on the being human and being part of a work force and being a man and being an uncle and being gay and being the best kind of person you possibly can.
Yeah, it’s simply refreshing. And so good you can’t stop reading.
