I'm so Sick of Stupid
Witched At Birth - Dakota Cassidy

2 stars It started out rough for me with excessively crude comments from a very immature character.(-1 star) Normally I would just say okay it's part of the story but these were just for crude shock value and added nothing to the characters or the story. It was just gross. Seriously saying "i smell old lady crouch" from an adult ? Unfortunately that wasn't the only name calling that made no sense in the book. The character in question toned it done after she learned her lesson. Well not completely she still name called and degraded people. She made a miraculous personality change suddenly in the book. "Poof" I'm not going to do that anymore, Yeah it went like that. It was predictable, a broken romance rekindled, ending in a HEA. None of the characters had any real depth, they read like cookie cutter people.I don't care about any of these characters or this world enough to move on i the series

What Is The Most Volatile Commodity That Is Traded?

The very ability to store a particular commodity is what makes for the commodity price volatility. In any extreme cases where the commodity doesn’t allow for immediate storage prior to delivery for instance electricity, there is no denying the prices are going to get volatile. Speaking on the same line, we have natural gas accompanied with oil which demands special infrastructure for immediate storage, the volatility is deliberately low. This is when there is ready availability of inventories. However, any such constraints on infrastructures attract spikes.

Inventory constraints affecting commodity

When we talk capacity constraints, commodities like agriculture and metal take singular and different stances when put against energy. When dealing with metals, you need basics in place, parking lot coupled with a fence, preferably chain linked. Such a structure allows you to store metals stacked up as high as possible. As such, non-energy commodity offers chances for low volatility barring the time when spikes take place, owing to depletion of inventories. By fair competition, Crude Oil commodity trading is definitely the most volatile commodity that one can possibly deal with. And it’s not for nothing that petroleum is often referred to as the black gold since it’s easily regarded to be one the most expensive commodities to trade as well.

The determining cost curve

The cost curve for commodity and the very steepness is also a determining factor for commodity volatility. The cost curve varies from one commodity to another which in turn greatly relies upon the very features of its production operandi. A fine instance, in this case, would be iron ore that generally throws in a curve that is all the steep. Now, as long as the price is kept high, the entire cost curve will be in play. It is noteworthy in this case that the iron ore is highly sensitive to the demand-supply shifts which again plays an important role in imparting its volatility. Any steady decline in demand has a direct impact on the market growing resilient towards the producers (high costing) and so the price of the commodity takes a heavy drop. By all means, such producers are left out of the scenario as they fail to satisfy any recurring demand down the line.

The One Grapes: Addressing Hospital Food with Crude Doodles - Joseph Picard
The One Grapes: Addressing Hospital Food With Crude Doodles - Joseph Picard
It's time for this month's entry in the Indies Unlimited 2016 Reading Challenge. For April, I am reviewing a humorous (or is that humourous?) book.

Author Joseph Picard is a paraplegic. In early 2015, he developed a pressure wound that landed him in the hospital for two months. So he had a lot of time to, um, appreciate the food -- and to ponder the meal order slips that the kitchen always attached to his tray. Early on, one of those slips listed, "1 EA GRAPES". As a creative kind of guy, Picard couldn't let that slide. So he doodled One Grapes having an existential moment and sent it back down with the empty tray. He heard the ladies in the kitchen liked it. So he started doing doodles on every slip, and snapping a photo of each one with his cell phone before his tray was whisked away.

With that much material, The One Grapes was practically inevitable.

I found the sketches witty enough for at least a chuckle and their descriptions charming. Picard's narration features a self-deprecating style that springs from a kind heart. Must be because he's Canadian.

If you've ever been hospitalized, you'll appreciate this book. If you know someone who's in the hospital -- or, hey, someone who works in a hospital kitchen -- this would be an awesome gift. Highly recommended, in other words, for just about everybody.
