It Went Way Beyond My Expectations
Thor - Wayne Smith

What a nice surprise, it was really good ! A werewolf story told from the dog's POV. It's not like anything you've read before.  I did not expect much more than a heart warming dog story, what I got was a heart, warming, breaking, thriller, horror story with a great dog. Give it a try.

I'm so Sick of Stupid
Witched At Birth - Dakota Cassidy

2 stars It started out rough for me with excessively crude comments from a very immature character.(-1 star) Normally I would just say okay it's part of the story but these were just for crude shock value and added nothing to the characters or the story. It was just gross. Seriously saying "i smell old lady crouch" from an adult ? Unfortunately that wasn't the only name calling that made no sense in the book. The character in question toned it done after she learned her lesson. Well not completely she still name called and degraded people. She made a miraculous personality change suddenly in the book. "Poof" I'm not going to do that anymore, Yeah it went like that. It was predictable, a broken romance rekindled, ending in a HEA. None of the characters had any real depth, they read like cookie cutter people.I don't care about any of these characters or this world enough to move on i the series

Reading progress update: I've read 23%.
Witched At Birth - Dakota Cassidy

Woah, this starts out really immature and crude. Saying someone smells like "old lady crouch" Ewwww and there is more like that, stupid middle school level stuff. It seems so stupid in the story too these little ridiculous put downs. They don't add anything to the story or character. I hope the female character grows beyond this.

Finding the Truth through Art
Drawn - Marie Lamba

4.4 stars
I went into this book totally blind. It had been on my kindle for years, unread. I went overboard with downloading freebies for a while. Don't judge. I've been randomly picking a book by tittle alone and reading them most have been meh reads, this one wasn't.
What an amazing time travel, mystery, suspense, love story. This book took me, shook me, and kept me up all night. I was always in the edge of my seat, nibbling on my cuticles, heart thumping, breath rapid, the answer was there just another page, stage. Who was the real villain ? What changes had she caused to the future ? Can they find a way to be together ? The best part is it's not all HEA there are some tissue box moments.. No worries, the end is so good. I never saw it coming. I love this author's writing, she paced everything just right for this reader. There was just enough, of everything to entrance me in her world. Will read this author again asap.
One slightly negative point had me going ??? She wasn't a major character I just don't like undone dangling bits. Where is the mother, and what was her story ? I feel like that chapter was dropped. There was a lot of story about her leaving but never an answer. Did I miss something ?

Reading progress update: I've read 20%.
A Darker Shade of Dead - Bianca D'Arc

Another kindle freebie bites the dust

I made to 20% and went our for a while and instead of anxiously wanting to get back to my book, like normal, I dreaded it. I just don't care for these characters, don't want to know if they make it and I don't want to watch them bang each other after the insta-lusty eye thing they had going on.

I tried, I forced myself to read the info bomb. I was bored.
