Hilarious but Short
Dabwaha, Curran Twitter - Ilona Andrews Dabwaha, Curran Twitter - Ilona Andrews

This was hilarious but short. Go here if you want to read this:

Hearing how Curran ruined Kate's dress and how a demon just came out wanting to fight made me snort laugh for five minutes.

FYI it will never not drive me nuts that Booklikes took away our ability to type periods in the freaking tags. Bah.

Captive Prince vs Nalini Singh

This is the tough one. Nalini Singh is VERY popular. And het. So that's a bigger genre for sure. But if we win, Freece has promised us a portrait of Laurent done by the artists of Teahouse!

You can vote until midday CST.

You can vote on all your wireless devices.

Congrats to CS Pacat who accomplished the seemingly impossible

And made it look easy.

I'm the happy kind of shocked.  :D

Lenalena:

I blame the disillusionment of the minions with B&C.

Today you can vote for the first Magpie Lord book!

DABWAHA 2014 is here

The nominees have been ANNOUNCED.

I like participating in this event, even if I haven't read most of the titles or the fact that I only vote for one-two category, especially GLBT. Interestingly two of the books in the GLBT categories were my personal favorites from last year (Magpie Lord and Provoked -- well, I loved Beguiled better, but Provoked started everything so I counted it as favorite too *grin*).

From the paranormal, I see the usual suspect Nalini Singh, but I haven't read the rest. In Young Adult, I see Scarlet -- and I really need to start reading David Levithan's book.
