Thankfully, finally, this is done!
Star Trek: Gold Key Archives Volume 1 - Arnold Drake,George Kashden,Nevio Zaccara,Alberto Giolitti,Giovanni Ticci

I only kept at it this morning to get this finished.   Finally, I can go back to Christine!

So, there's dialogue that doesn't make any sense coming from Kirk, McCoy or Spock.   Or occasionally Scotty.  Oh, did I leave out Sulu and Uhura and Chapel?   Well, so did the writers.   Who had Kirk in a green shirt, and speaking fucking Space Esperanto.

This is awful.   This is retribution bad level awful.  Seriously, guys, insist that your writers watch the bloody shows that they're writing stuff based on.

Space Esperanto.

Space Esperanto.

And why is Esperanto the universal language of all planets?

Seat belts would have been a good idea on the Enterprise given how often they got bounced around.

See?   Seat belts?   Would have prevented that tumblage.

I really don't give a fuck.   Because this was supposed to be a Star Trek graphic novel.   And it's not.   It's written and drawn by people who have clearly not seen the show.   And the introduction said that.  So I'm reading this like thirty pages at a time, rolling my eyes, then moving onto something else.

By the way, this GIF has about as much to do with ST as this comic does.   Fail.   Epic, epic fail.

Dick Wood is a fantastically redundant name.

I don't know why I'm giggling, when I'm also thinking... poor kid.   That could make for a nightmare of a childhood!
