This was a really interesting read. Although I'm not usually into these kind of books, I'm tryin to be more open about new adult books and read more of them. This one was free and seemed cool.
It was really great. The relationship between the two main characters was great and the dynamic of the book was well handled, even if I thought it was just a bit too long.
But this book also has a strong message. About relationships between women and the effect it has in our society. It made me think about stuff I don't usually think about. Yes, I care for gay rights, I always have. But I never really thought about how difficult it must be for women, because two women together is a fantasy in many men's minds. And it can be a problem. It is a problem, actually.
Anyway, I'm not here to talk about that too much, but I thought it was impressive how well the subject was handled while being really subtle at the same time. It was not moralizing, but it made me think, and that is great!
