Review: Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes
Falling Kingdoms - Morgan Rhodes,Michelle Rowen

Read from February 16 to 20, 2014

This book is ridiculously good! Amazing! Hands down one of the best things I've ever read! It really does "take the cake"!

There's no surprise that I'm a HUGE fan of fantasy, especially High/Epic fantasy. One that involves magic and distant lands, Kingdoms and brutal battles. This one HAS. IT. ALL !!!!

This story is told in three POV's and in 3rd person. You would think that would make the story somewhat confusing and jumbled up but it is well constructed that you'll easily understand. Cleo, Jonas and Magus are each from a different Kingdom in the land of Mythica, and each come with their own twist in this story. Their separate lives are soon intertwined with each others. These characters suffer and witness love and hate, magic and myths all while a ruthless, vicious war is brewing. Leaving readers wondering what will happen now that the Kingdoms have fallen.

I highly recommend that everyone read this. It's one hell of a story. Fast pace and fun to read. Thrilling and intense. Super brutal and the battle scene is WHEW! Talk about Gore!!!

I'm eager to read the second book, Rebel Spring! So eager with excitement that as soon as I finished this one this morning (at 6:30 am) I went and got it at Walmart! It's all mine....ALL MINE!

Happy Reading Y'all

♥ xoxo ♥

An incredible ending to an AMAZING trilogy!!!
Quintana of Charyn - Melina Marchetta

Boy did this last book have me on edge.

What am I talking about, all 3 books

of this trilogy had me on edge!!

I can not stress to you guys enough just how much I loved this trilogy! It captivated and stole my heart from the very beginning with Finnikin of the Rock, Had my emotions going ballistic with Froi of the Exiles and my mind blown with Quintana of Charyn.

This story was so beautifully written and perfectly crafted. Marchetta was able to makes this fantasy story feel so remarkably realistic. With her vivid world building and her ability to create such mesmerizing characters that will bewitch you, nestling comfortably in your hearts to stay! Which in my opinion was the best thing about the whole trilogy. How Marchetta was able to create new characters along the way but maintain using the same ones we all came to love, from the very beginning, throughout all three books.

Marchetta'a writing and story-telling was so intense. My emotions were being squeezed like a stress ball, over and over again!! Angry when there was fighting, crying when there was sadness, the yearning and heat I felt when there was romance, and complete excitement when there was joy and happiness!

I'm not here to tell you everything that happened in this book or this trilogy.

I'm simply here to tell you how much I enjoyed the books and how much I really want y'all to go out and read them, that's all!! So please, today, if you haven't read them, PLEASE DO!!!
