This book was so much more than I was expecting. Even though I've loved the series, and it's one of my most favorites, I didn't know if I would be that interested in Preacher's tale compared to the others. It was amazing. I love when a story makes me feel, and this book had all the feels. My eyes were pretty watery for some of it. This series has great world building. I know the characters, and I love them (or hate, or pity, etc). It's easy to get caught up. The emotions are not simple either. The characters are flawed people that don't always have HEA, just like real life. My eyes are trying to tear up now just thinking about it. I definitely recommend Underserving and all the Undeniable Series books.

OMGOODNESS!!! love this story. Had me in tears majority of the time. I wish things could have been way hotter with Preacher & Debbie(Eva's Mom), it just seemed way too tamed for Madeline within this series. Considering with what we've been given with the other stories in this series. So that left me wanting BIG TIME. But the execution of all other things here, and the way certain things were brought to light, I had to still give this one 5*.

Although, and this is an after thought, THE REVELATION of the the unexpected truth that Preacher found out, I wish somehow, the details of that could have been given to us, the reader, in real time. Like a truth only we actually get to see but the characters will never know.

Other than that, this was an awesome read. I would HIGHLY recommend this one.

I read the first book in this series way back in 2014 when Biker books were totally my thing.Over the years my tastes have changed dramatically and I kind of forgot about this series...this one wasn't even on my radar until i saw a friend's status update and to be honest I wasn't that interested in Preacher's story but I thought,why not?
My God....I'm so glad I decided to read it.It's quite simply stunning...I honestly don't have enough words to describe how much I was captivated here.

The story of Preacher and Debbie....
Two worlds collide and the outcome left me stunned.

Preacher is kind of lost,not sure which world he belongs to anymore when he meets Debbie,a teenage runaway.Don't go into this one expecting lots of hot,dirty,biker sex because it's not that kind of book.It's about two people finding each other at a point in their lives when they both needed something


I loved,

-There is no insta lust/love here which made the story so much more poignant and believable.

-told from past to present,which made it all the more dramatic.

-the supporting characters all played their part,even if some weren't likable.

-my heart literally broke for Preacher and Debbie as their story unfolded.

There is nothing I didn't love about this book.It's a tough read,though....at one point I couldn't even read the words through my tears.I especially found reading Eva's pov and Preacher's towards the end unbelievably emotional.


Conclusion: this book wrecked me in the worst and best way.

uh.. what did I just read.. and Why the hell did I I finish it.. why did so many people recommend this book to me. I can't even write a review.. this is all I can give y'all. WHAT THE F@#$. WTF for real. ok I'm done. ugh.

Well-written, chock full of zombie gore and the depravity that "humanity" can reach in a state of lawlessness, sad and no happily ever after. It's everything you want and expect in a book about a zombie apocalypse.

 

But mixed in through that is the story of the love between two women, two best friends--soulmates, determined to stick together through thick and thin, and especially the thin. It's the love and fight these two have for each other that makes this book. This isn't the best zombie related book I've ever read, but everything about Evelyn, Leisel and their relationship with each other is what makes this book worth reading.
