Day 08 - Most overrated book

I’m a fan of dystopian fiction and literature. It’s very hard to be a fan of that sub-genre at the moment, because there’s so much of it flooding the market. There’s some that’s good, and some that isn’t. So many people raved about this book, I’d hoped it would fall into the good category, but it really didn’t for me. I didn’t care for the narrator’s voice. I didn’t care for how apparent the “twist” was. I just… didn’t care for it.

Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley, this book has a rating of 4.49 on goodreads and I have no idea how it got that. I don't even remember why I picked this book up, it sounded like a good idea at the time. I didn't hate it but I really did not see anything in it that made this book worth the read. It was full of cliches and angst and what not. Bleh

Most overrated book. Please nobody kill me...

Succubus Blues - Richelle Mead

This. Fucking. Book.

Do you know how many of my GR friends liked this book? Fifty two. Fifty fucking two. This is one maybe three first-in-series books that almost everyone seemed to love. So it would seem like a safe bet that I would love it too, right? Or at least enjoy it. WRONG. This book ended up inspiring my first ever rage-rant. Here it is, in all it's bitchy glory:
