(Audiobook) Venetia
Venetia - Georgette Heyer,Richard Armitage

Ugh...fabulous.

Richard Armitage's fantastic narration only added to Georgette Heyer's fantastic writing.

And while this version is abridged, it flowed quite nicely, at least to me, at any rate. It's been some years since I've read the complete version of the novel, and had it been a bit fresher in my mind, I might be of a different opinion. I did notice that quite a bit is cut from the end of the novel (that whole bit about the orgies, for one), but it is still quite effective and swoon-worthy.

Five stars to both author and narrator.

(Audiobook) Robin Hood: Parent Hood
Robin Hood: Parent Hood (Episode 4) - Richard Armitage,BBC Audiobooks

I'm a little sad. This was the last of the Robin Hood audiobooks. :(

I still think the previous book was the best written of the bunch. This one, however, was still highly enjoyable.

Three stars for the story, one star for Richard Armitage's excellent narration.

(Audiobook) Robin Hood: Who Shot the Sheriff?
Robin Hood Who Shot the Sheriff? - Jacqueline Rayner

Each of these books are authored by a different person, and while the two I've listened to previously have been highly enjoyable, I have to say that I absolutely loved this third one, authored by Jacqueline Raynor. And I think the quality of the prose made the already excellent narration by Richard Armitage all the more better.

I'm sad I only have one left to go in this series. :(

Story = 3 Stars

Narration = 4 Stars

Richard Armitage really does a fantastic job. I especially love his voice work for the characters Much and the Sheriff.

(Audiobook) Robin Hood: Will You Tolerate This?
Robin Hood: Will You Tolerate This? (Episode 1) - BBC Audiobooks,Richard Armitage

This was basically just a retelling of the first episode of the tv show Robin Hood, which I knew when I bought it.

Coming in at just a hair over an hour and a half in length, it's an enjoyable three-star listen.

Richard Armitage earns it the fourth star. That man's voice, y'all. Y'all.
