I read 35 books this month with an average score of 3.87. 7 were graphic novels and 14 were YA. My most-read genres were mystery, contemporary, and sci-fi. Fantasy and thriller were right behind. It's been a while since romance didn't make that list. Horror actually tied it for sixth.

I just realized all my favorite books were graphic novels this month. It was a really good month for those. Of those, I think Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Vol. 1: High School Is Hell might have been my favorite, but it's really close with Pumpkinheads and Go For It, Nakamura!. All three of those had great art and I had a smile on my face the entire time I read them.

My least favorite was Bring Me Back - B.A. Paris. The main character frustrated me for the entire book and I just wanted him to stop and actually think things through.

I read 41 books this month with an average score of 3.63. 23 of my books were young adult and 12 were graphic novels. My most-read genres were fantasy, contemporary, and romance. I was expecting mystery to break into my top three with Halloween Bingo, but looking over the books I read, I can see I tended to default to fantasy books to fill squares, which does not surprise me at all.

My favorite books were The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library - The Daily Show With Trevor Noah, My Brother's Husband, Volume 1 (Pantheon Graphic Novels) - Gengoroh Tagame,Anne Ishii, and Batman Vol. 5: Rules of Engagement (Rebirth) - Tom King,Joelle Jones. My least favorite book was The Boyfriend Bracket - Kate Evangelista.

I read 36 books this month. 9 of them were graphic novels, and 11 were audio books. While I had a couple of bad books, I had quite a few excellent ones. I read more mystery and horror books than usual since I'm playing Halloween Bingo, and a majority of my picks for the game have worked out very well for me.
