Seth never thought he’d have a future. But now he’s on the brink of having it all with Josie: A tomorrow. A family. A forever. And all that's standing between him and that forever is the Titans. If he helps Josie entomb them -- without killing them, a nearly impossible task for him -- everything he could ever want will be in reach. But he soon realizes that as a god, every little choice he makes can reshape the world for the better… or worse. And in meddling with the Titans, Seth may have just set into motion catastrophic consequences that will force the Olympians to enter the mortal realm and reshape the delicate balance of power that keeps the world from total collapse.
A price must be paid…
Entombing the Titans is Josie’s top priority. After all, it was what she was born to do. But the plans her father put into play to help her are no longer an option, and the odds she and Seth face in forging their own path are grim. The escalating violence between halfs and pures only increases the danger closing in on them and their friends. Josie knows their chances of succeeding in their task are slim at best -- and if they fail, they might lose everything. But she also knows she's not fighting just for herself -- she's fighting for the man she loves, for their future, for the world. Together with the Army of Awesome, Josie and Seth will face the unthinkable. And to win this war, the ultimate sacrifice must be made.
For the end is here and the Prophecy will be fulfilled…
Story 5 ★but the editing 2-3 ★
And give the book and overall of 4★ I (read more below)
This is the fourth and final book in “The Titan” series
So this was a bitter sweet good not only the series but also the characters that we became to love. Not only Seth, Josie and friends but also characters we met in previous series and books. I surely will miss the gang and this world.
Being it the final book there is not much I can say or go too much into detail without spoiling it, so I will just touch on some things.
Seth has grown so much, since we first met him and even more in this series. But I think the most of it happened in this book. But overall he just got better and better. What I liked the most was that is was organic and not just over night. He slowly changed with trial and errors and that he still had plenty of stupid moments. Overall Seth was such a fun and often complex character to follow, who not only made us swoon but also cuss and laugh at the same time.
Josie, I wasn’t 100% sure if her in the first book but man did she grow on me, She was thrown into this world she knew nothing about and thought was fiction and she handled pretty freaking awesome and yet human. She had her doubts and made mistake but she always learned from them and was even better and badder than the time before. She really is the perfect match for Seth. She didn’t put up with any shit he gave her and always stood up to him. But also gave him a shoulder to lean on.
Overall I really liked how much the balanced each other out and how they fought for each other or them.
This book was packed with everything, humor as we used to from the books, action lots of action . But also heartbreak and romance, lots and lots of romance but also a lot of emotions all around. This is one heck of a roller coaster ride in this book but it kept in on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t but it down for the last half of the book.
It was a crazy insane journey for sure and it was super emotional to me, especially since not everyone will make it to the epilogue.
The ending was fitting and I enjoyed a lot but I was sad that it ended and I knew that it was the final good bye to these people. I will miss them.
Now some not so good things about it.
There were some pretty big editing mistakes in this book or things that were overlooked, normally when I review an ARC or so I don’t mention these things since they are ARCS and still change. But I bought a FINISHED paperback copy of amazon and it shouldn’t have that many errors in it. Here is one example of a few errors that were made, but this stood out the most.
The book alternates POV between Seth and Josie, either chapter by chapter or half way through, either way it is clear who we follow. Except I found times where in the middle of a paragraph it switches for a just a few line to the other persons POV and then straight back. It is easy to tell it is a mistake but it happens at least 4-5 times if not more throughout the book. That made threw the reading flow off a bit. There were other minor editing mistakes here and there but nothing major. Either or there should not be that many mistakes in a finished copy that I pay for….. At least that is what I think……. And I will have to take some points of the review for that.
All that being said, I loved the book and was sad to see it end but editing was rather bad for this book.
I rate the story 5 ★but the editing 2-3 ★
And give the book and overall of 4★ I guess…..
