#28 - Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi
Furthermore - Tahereh Mafi

It took me ages to read this book, not because it was bad but because I was still in a huge book hangover after Restore Me. The story was great and totally crazy; I had a lot of fun reading it.

It reminded me of course of Alice in Wonderland but even more of Oz, the crazy touch of humors were really similar to L. Frank Baum’s. It was however, really different from the other books I’ve read by Tahereh Mafi and I actually really liked that.

I guess my timing was really bad and I maybe shouldn’t have read it just after Restore Me. I still recommend reading it if you like crazy stuffs because it definitely was!

#25 - Restore me by Tahereh Mafi
Restore Me - Tahereh Mafi

Ok, so where to begin… I had the biggest book hangover I’ve ever had. Seriously, I was so frustrated by the end of the book I almost throw it across the room. I need more! And I need more right now!!

It was amazing to get into this world again. The original trilogy was one of my favourite series ever and I was so happy to know there will be more books to discover what was going to happen to Warner (and Juliette, of course, but Warner though… Sorry, I’m fangirling).

I was so glad to discover the new characters and to learn more about other part of the world. It was really something that I missed in the original trilogy so I was more than happy!

We did not get a lot of Adam in this book but honestly I don’t really care. I never really liked his character, I enjoyed when he was around for Juliette at the beginning but I’ve always been team Warner obviously…However, I was sad to get so little of James, because he is really cool and I would have loved more interactions between him and Warner. I guess there will be more in the next books.

The new characters are really mysterious and I won’t say too much about them because I don’t want to spoil it for those who have not read it yet.

I am not a fan of series that are supposed to be over and then the author decides to write more books. Most of the time it does not work at all for me, but in this case, it was just perfectly done and it add so much more to the series. I can’t wait for the next book (that ending guys :o!)

#22 - Unite Me by Tahereh Mafi
Unite Me - Tahereh Mafi

I decided to re-read this one as well after my re-read of the series. I’m still waiting for my copy of Restore Me but it has been shipped and I should get it next week. I am super excited!

I was glad to get back into Warner’s head, he is an amazing character.

However, reading about Adam’s thoughts makes me hate him even more. I am sorry but I really hate his character.

Oh and, I can’t wait for Restore Me!

#13 - Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi
Ignite Me - Tahereh Mafi

Going on with my re-read of this series. I think this book is actually my favourite of the original trilogy. I do really like who Juliette is becoming and how she does stand her ground. She is strong and she finally understood that she has the power to change things, and most importantly, she discovered that she is not the only person who is suffering. Her life really sucked, I do agree, but she met people who will make her understand that she is not alone and that other people also had a rough life.

Also, you might guess why it is my favourite… I mean that scene (I guess you all know which one I’m talking about!) Warner is really one of my favourite “villain” of all time; I totally adore his character.

This made me even more excited about the upcoming new series, Restore Me is less than a month away guys !!

#3 - Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi
Unravel Me - Tahereh Mafi

This is my second read of this book and I totally fell in love again with it. Tahereh Mafi has such a unique way with words I totally adored it. I decided to mark the pages with beautiful quotes but I had to stop because I did it with every single page (if you follow me on Instagram, you know I'm all about Unravel Me quotes these days). Mafi's writing style is quite different from what I usually read and I just loved it.

The story was interesting as well, but it is definitely not what captivated me most about the book. I remember reading it the first time and starting to kind of like Warner a bit and starting disliking Adam (a lot). Now, it’s just all about Warner (I mean, come on, he’s such an amazing sexy villain).

I also remember disliking Juliette a lot. Yes, she is annoying and just complaining all the time, but I have to admit I think I’ll definitely be like her if I was in her shoes. She is also determined to help those she loves, even if she sometimes makes really bad decisions, her intentions are true. I admire her a lot now and I can’t wait to read more about her in the next trilogy.

I’ll re-read Ignite Me next month and I’m so excited about what is to come!! I’m so happy I decided to re-read this series, it’s a great way to start 2018!
