Vale of Blood Roses is a dark fantasy/horror novella about a group of mercenaries that saw and did unspeakable things during a war they served in called the Cataclysmic War. After the war ends, they find they've entered a valley that should not exist. Instead of leaving it though, they continue to kill and do things that they shouldn't and after time the villagers seek them out for revenge...

Honestly, this story has left me with more questions then answers. I liked the world building and the characters. They were unique and imaginative and the plot was great up until the end, then I think the ending must have went right over my head because I didn't get the point of it while I was reading it and, after thinking about it, I still don't get it??!
