I love the angel experiment books by James Patterson, they are so different from his other books, but in my opinion the most imaginative and creative of his works. If you love Alex Cross and his adventures - this is not that LOL - sci-fi meets adventure!
Alright, I thought the narration on this book was way cheesy initially. But, like the bookcrazy girl I am who is a sucker for a good story, I got sucked in. This book is many things:*Fun aimed at kids, but fun that an adult who isn't terribly cynical and superior could enjoy.*Penetrating, insightf...
A bizarre plot with a terrible beginning. Without any sort of background we are plunged into action. It works for Riordan but unfortunately not here. Could not bring myself to read past the first 20 pages. P.S - Mr. Patterson? Kids do NOT speak like that. You just sound like an adult trying too hard...
Angel Experiment was a nice easy read. It is clearly written for the early teens as shown with his style of writing. It moved at a nice pace never really giving the reader time to take a breath. From the very start it was action and never stopped.Max is a great character as were all the flock and I ...
This book was all-right, it did kind of drag on and still didn't give you any real answers even by the end of the book. Although we are repeatedly told how young the 'flock' is I still couldn't picture the characters as children as I read.I am curious to see what happens so will continue with the se...
To be completely honest, I definitely had some misconceptions when I stumbled across this series. I was searching for a short romance or YA novel, not one of James Patterson's world renowned, somewhat graphic murder mysteries. I had just finished I, Alex Cross the previous week, and was still recoop...
It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that science can do anything!I'm not about to start a blow-by-blow recap of Lindsey Ellis' Playing God review. All I'm going to say is that the darling scientists in this book need to be sent back to primary school to learn proper protocol. Those idiots will ...
The Angel Experiment was advertised as "the ultimate action-packed adventure full of humour and suspense" I unfortunately was very under whelmed. The plot was very basic- most of the book was just the children running away, getting caught and running away again. And to be honest their was no definit...
