I. Hate. Will. He sucks. Why does he have to come along, and then suddenly Lyra -- who was so awesome in the first book -- becomes all pathetic and damsel-in-distress, like "oooh Will I'm gonna go fall off a cliff now!! save meeee". grrrrr it's annoying.

Second time is not the charm, I guess. I like the story, but not as much. I like the writing, but I find myself impatient for it to be over. I hate when this happens.
