I recently finished reading Dark Space by Lisa Henry.
I really enjoyed this SciFi story. You can find my review here: http://authorkaylajameth.booklikes.com/post/584296/dark-space-shines
I'm also working my way through Andrea Speed's Infected series, an interesting take on the concept of shifters. I rather like Roan McKechan. There is just something a little twisted about "hearing" a guy referring to his time of the month.
Dark Space and the Infected series are some of my favorites. I really like that Roan is more like a Hollywood shifter, you know, the kind that turns into a monster that attacks anyone who gets near. That's pretty unusual among romance books I've noticed, most shifters in most series seem to be the same, smart in their animal form, never get sick, etc. That's not a bad thing necessarily, but it's good to see some variety in the shifter genre.
I'm currently rereading Like Fire Through Bone by E.E. Ottoman. https://www.dreamspinnerpress.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=4180 I think it's one of my favorites of this year's releases. It's very rare to find a book where the MC is a eunuch, and I loved Vasilios's character. He's patient and mature, and yet still has hopes and dreams no matter how much he denies them. I felt Markos could have been developed a little better, but otherwise it was a near-perfect book. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this author's work.

I know what you mean about shifters. I rather like the Native American style better than the Hollywood version of weres. Brooding, sexy, invincible teenagers aren't my thing.
A eunuch? That's very unique. I'll have to look closer at that one.

I read that collection as well. A very diverse group of men.
Right now I am actively reading two books. Wild Onions by Sarah Black. I'm really enjoying this one so far. I am also reading Fool For Love by Cassandra Gold. I have a thing for a man with a little silver at the temples.

I love the Infected series (even though I usually don’t like other shifter stories…). Great characters and plot! And god, did I cry after I finished the second book!
That reminds me, I need to reread the series and finally start with the new books! :)
Dark Space was also great!
And at the moment I’m reading Easy Ryder by Deanna Wadsworth. It’s really good so far.
Great group - thank you! At the moment I appear to be the author everyone loves to hate at Goodreads, so it's a relief to have a group with a positive outlook, tee hee! :))
Am not reading any m/m at the moment as I'm trying to clear my Kindle, but I liked Hoarded to Death (a Jamie Brodie mystery) by Meg Perry, for the uncertainty between the 2 leads - very realistic, I thought.

I enjoyed Easy Ryder. Snake and Ryder were a rather unexpected mix until you get to know Snake more.

I don't see anything to be gained by mud slinging. I'd rather discuss what I like about the genre and find out about new authors/books.
I'll have to check out the mystery.
I'm currently reading Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy fanfiction. Link http://archiveofourown.org/works/879852/chapters/1692695
I'm currently reading the new Daisy Harris - After The Rain - and am nearly finished. Won't be able to review until January, but it's good. Then I'll start Safe by C. Kennedy. It's YA, but her books depict great real life situations, and are focused on helping LGBT teens through abuse and bullying, or worse. If you haven't read Omorphi by this author, you're missing out.
I just downloaded a couple freebies off of Less Than Three Press, Stable Boy by Megan Derr, Something Real by Julia Alaric, and Baited by Tami Veldura. We'll see how it goes. Baited has a Harris Hawk on the cover so I'm hoping one of the characters is a falconer. I miss handling hawks, and Harrises are so cool :(

There's some good fanfic out there. I have a friend that wrote a Ron X Draco fanfic a while back.
