I just finished the audiobook version of Death of a Pirate King. Thank goodness for audiobooks, I've had the flu for the last few days and audiobooks make it easier to keep me entertained.
I finished Bone Rider yesterday. I really enjoyed it. It is a scifi that takes place here on Earth. There's even an alien or two.

Did you read Dark Space? It's a really good scifi.

Lisa has said that she is currently writing a sequel to Dark Space so we'll have something to look forward to next year.

It's on my list, prob from your review! Thanks for the reminder! :-)
I just finished reading two fantastic books by Ella Frank, Try and Take. I had never read any of her books before. I was on Amazon searching for something new to read, going down the list when my eyes stopped on her book Try. I read the blurb and thought what the hell, I downloaded it and I have to say that I'm absolutely glad I did. What an awesome read. The love story was slow not rushed and the characters were amazingly written. Give Try a try you want regret it.
I just finished reading a book by Alessandra Hazard call Just a Bit Twisted. It was a quick read with a 156 pages. I know that's small, but for me I like a quick read sometimes. The story was really good, and I don't want to give away anything spoilers; all I'm going to say is that...a young college student is turned out by his Gay Professor. And when I say turned out, don't take it as a negative connotation. It was a really sweet love story.
Reading Chaos Station now. Looks like it's going to be a pretty good scifi.
I have Chaos station on my to be read list too. Momo recommended it. I love sci-fi!

And hi, Kayla! Nice to meet you. I'm Marte. :)
I'm a hard core scifi/fantasy reader outside the m/m genre. My favorite authors include: CJ Cherryh, Andre Norton, Jo Clayton, Dave Duncan, Roger Zelazny, Patrica McKillip, Ursula K LeGuin, PC Hodgell, Steven Brust, etc.
So I hold my m/m scifi/fantasy stories to the same standards. The following did it for me:
Dark Space by Lisa Henry
Bone Rider by J Fally
Brimestone series by Angel Martinez
Sub Zero by Angel Martinez
To Adam with Love by Adrienne Wilder
Just about anything Ann Summerville writes
Heroes and Ghosts by SA Payne
Counterpoint by Rachel Haimowitz
Chaos Station was good. I'll be getting the rest of the series.
