Search doesn't seem to work with authors who have initials instead of first names.

Examples:
T.M. Simmons
T.S. Elliot
E.B. White

F. Scott Fitzgerald does work, but looking at the author record, the first name field contains "F. Scott" so that might be why?

Sorry and thank you. We're checking that.
The Tag input box: if you make a typo in the middle of the tag, then move your cursor to the incorrect portion to make the correction, the re-typed letters are not put in the space where your cursor is but rather attached at the end of the tag. I'm using a tablet.

This has been occurring for several weeks. The fix I've been using is to delete the entire Tag and start over. So not a big deal, but maybe someday . . .

Thanks so much!
I'm having trouble with reading comments on blog posts from my iphone. I can see them on posts from my dashboard, but if use the email notifications for comments on blog posts, it takes me directly to the blog and the comments don't load there.

Sorry! We'll look into this.

Re: the signing in to the reading lists thing...When the lists first came out I did the same thing, for the same reasons and got the same results. I'm not really seeing the point of the reading lists, there's no way to interact with them. Unless I'm missing something?

Reading lists can be used as literary guides and recommendations, by signing in you can show the appreciation, your reading plans and/or your reading challenges. Now you can also Like the list and add all listed books to your bookshelf - this is helpful and puts all books on your shelves with just one click. You also share the list news on Dashboard and among your friends and this can trigger other readers to have a look and find a new great read. We'll be also adding new options to lists, like comments section.

Of course and as always we're open to new ideas and suggestions. If there's something we should do better, please let us know and we'll make it happen.
I just noticed my reading challenge page is inaccurate (http://booklikes.com/apps/reading-challenge/26241/2014)

It says: "223/200 books read"

But the list of books stops at "220":

"2014 Challenge Books

220."

ETA: It now says 224/221 because I've added another book read/review since I first wrote this.

I'm curious - did you by any chance re-read any book twice this year, but read different editions? I have a few books I've read in print but then also listened to on audiobook, and I was wondering if that caused the discrepancy...

I actually did do just that (my husband has suggested medication) and my shelves show 220 books read in 2014 and they match the books that are listed on the book challenge. So I don't know where that extra 3 came from - or if it actually is an extra 3. I'm hoping BL has better tools. :)

Hi, we've checked and everything seems OK. The number on the top of the page refers to your reading times as such and includes the re-reads (that's why it shows 224 - as there are 3 books with re-read dates).

The book list below, on the other hand, shows the actual number of book titles read - that's why it shows 221 - the information about re-reads is given next to a book titles.

Hi, we've checked your reading challenge and sort it out. So sorry, there was a little issue that's why the number of books didn't match - now everything should be OK and the number of books should represent your read titles in 2014.
