March's Reading Challenge ~ Go Forth!

This month you will read:

1 ~ a book with character(s) who travel.

2 ~ a book that takes place in a different country from where you live.

3 ~ a book that takes place in the future.

4 ~ a book you read at a place other than your home.
I love this prompt. But that is no surprise considering 8 out of the 9 books on my currently reading shelf fit the prompt. Not one of them is set in the future, tho. :)

That's impressive that you have 8/9 books that fit the prompts!

Not really impressive. I just love travel and books about it and authors who write about travel and...

Also, I go stir crazy if I'm in the same place too long. I'm currently on a "sanity break" for the very same reason.
For the future, I'm reading Aufhority, book 2 of The Southern Reach Trilogy. I hope to get to Code Name-Verity for the novel in a different country. It's been hard reading lately. Books I had on hold for months are now pouring it, which is throwing me off. I can't read as fast as I use to because Im doing other projects this year.
See I can't even type! This is what I get for posting after midnight!
Midnight postings are so much fun!

I've had the same thing happen with holds suddenly coming in at the same time. Sounds like you're going to be a very busy gumbo!
I'm starting with the easy one this month a book that takes place in a different country from where I live. For this one I read Mary Calmes 'Fighting Instinct' it's the second book in her L'Ange series. It is set in the United States and I am Canadian ;-)
Review
This is easy. Very few books I read take place in Canada - the country where I live. I just finished two Mary Balogh's novels - The Proposal and The Arrangement. Both take place in England, so I'm set for March with #2. Next on my reading shelf is a sci-fi novel - #3 in the challenge. Later on in the month, I will probably find some book with a traveling hero.
My review for The Proposal.
My review for The Arrangement.

I love Mary Balogh!

I gave The Proposal 4* and The Arrangement 3*. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

I'm hoping I can complete all the prompts for March. I've got 3/4 done. I just need a book where the characters travel.

Book related drinking games sound interesting. I can't remember the last time I read a book that would lend itself to a drinking game.

I love Mary Balogh too. I've read many of her novel and I'm now reading The Escape - #3 in the series. Interesting to notice that our opinions of the first two book are almost the same.
As to the March challenge, I don't think I can fill #4 - I never read anywhere but home. Sometimes on a bus, if I go somewhere, but that's just a few pages at a time so it doesn't count.

It isn't necessary to do all the prompts, but if you read more than a few pages somewhere else, even if it isn't the whole book, I think that would count.

I listened to an audiobook mostly at work, but some at home. I'm going to count that. Audiobooks I almost always do at different places: driving, shopping, working and at home.
I went with something set in a country in which I don't live for this month: The Girl on the Train
