Are there particular things you're not liking about it?
I'm enjoying the book a lot.
Which kind of surprised me since I usually find books like this a bit on the tedious side.

But I can't decide is Lucille is a right bitch or not.
LOL

Hahaha!!!!

I'm really liking how the author always drops a little clue about something so I want to keep reading to find out where that leads, then she drops another and I want to keep reading, etc. She's a very skillful author.
She is.
She's keeping my interest in a genre I don't typically enjoy much.

And by 'her' earlier, I meant Lucille, not the author.
I'm still only 27% in, but even though my progress is slow I'm loving this and dive in every evening eager to see what's going to happen next.

Also, glory be, somehow I'm able to keep track of who is who among the more important minor characters (oxymoron alert?)--I think it must be the skill of the author because I haven't made a cheat sheet.
I have also become distracted because I decided to power through to the end of LOTR. I need to get back into this one.

Lucilla is an iron fist in a velvet glove.

Iron fist in a velvet glove--perfect.
Just finished this today and loved it! It dragged a little for me in the middle, but the ending was completely wonderful.
Need help?
