sorry for intruding guys. would it work if members post at least 3-5 top genres they read? that way, other members can see what they have in common. i updated my blog page earlier and included a profile page listing down all of the genres i read or enjoy.

Someone, somewhere, (maybe it was Spare Ammo? Or Jessica?) had an idea to address this -- had a place to sidebar the old stuff, but leave it accessible.
Sorry I can't quite remember . . . If I find it again, I'll clarify. Or maybe they will see this. At any rate I think they alread turned it in to BL so it's all good.

Could you create a test post or two in this thread, maybe, just so the rest of us can see whether we can delete it or whether it (still / suddenly / whatever) doesn't work?

I contemplated trying to delete other folks' posts yesterday when Bookstooge reported the "delete" function wasn't working for him, but ultimately held back; somehow it would have seemed unfair because nothing in this thread is really off topic now. So I'd rather delete something that was created just for that purpose!

No problem. I don't have a Windows phone but I think this goes to show that there are still quite some things wrong with the admin/deleting post-functions.

I've found that BL doesn't really work for me from a phone, so desktop and laptop is all I ever use. (Laptop as I type this.) Kind of hoping that there'll be a truly workable mobile phone app at some point, but I'm not holding my breath (especially not after what BL just posted in Feature Requests) ... though if "bringing out the best of what we already have" means improving the apps, too, then more power to them, of course!
