Hi everyone!
So I see that new people have been joining lately, and I'm wondering how many of you would be on board for a restart of this group? I had moved things back to the blog, and then to Facebook, but the original members haven't been participating much and I'd rather keep this in a space where people will interact.
Show of hands, how many of you out there would be interested in being part of a monthly club read, starting in September?
I suck at reading on a schedule. I don't mind popping in, but I resent reading for anything other than my pleasure on my own time. I tried, I bought a book for this group and then it stared at me as I sullenly refused to read it that month because /you don't tell me when to read you, book. I say when I read you./
I tried, and only because it was your book group. So.... It's basically, honestly, the same to me. I'll only read the book when I damn well please.

No worries Grim! I know how that goes :). It's why I ask. If there are at least 3 or 4 other people who want to participate, I'll facilitate! Otherwise I'll go read what I feel like at the time instead.
I'd be interested, Jessica. I'm not terribly picky about books, although sometimes I do overload myself. Bad Moonlight!
I'm interested. My schedule can be crazy, but I will try.
You know I'll try to participate whenever possible. Wherever we may end up (blog, booklikes, fb etc). I know you put a lot into the book club and I appreciate you!
Awesome! Let me dredge up the list of themes I had written, and I'll see what we had on deck for September :). Then we can throw around some titles for consideration!
Like everyone else, I've got a very full schedule but I do like to get in on group reads when I can. I may not be able to participate every month but I'm definitely interested.
I'm in. I've been distracted lately due to family health issues. My dad has been in and out of the hospital the past month or so, but I'm ready to lose some time in reading.
