Thanks in turn, OB! It basically took me all evening and half the night last night to get my "blackout" post through (with still some formatting to even out today), so yeah -- it definitely would all have been even greater fun without this site's performance issues.

That said, thanks all the more for checking back on this thread and commenting here, too!

Ok, ..... Finally finished the 12 Tasks. I've posted my review for the last book (Death in the Tunnel) on BL but it took forever and I don't have the patience right now to do a 12 Tasks update post.

There is an updated summary of all tasks on my WP blog, tho.

I'll copy the update over to BL later, i.e. when it actually responds in a timely fashion.

I've tried for two days to put up a Final post for the second half of the tasks I completed. I give up. To wrap up, my first half post shows I finished all of the first sixth and out of the next six I only ended up missing three (task 8 - didn't make it to a movie, task 10 - didn't get to make cracker, and task 11 - didn't read a book with train travel). I completed 21 tasks :) Thanks again for hosting Obsidian and Moonlight, I had fun doing the tasks and just wish BLs could have hung in there longer.

I also spent several hours yesterday trying to catch up my December reads and wrap up the 12 Tasks. I gave up in frustration before I could do the 12 tasks wrap up, but my final post on the last book read has the final, updated bingo card.

On a related note, I am taking a break from BL for a while. The frustration of trying to add books and post yesterday was the final straw. I'll be active on GR, though, and will periodically check back in on BL in hopes that things may improve.

Thanks for putting together the 12 Tasks. It was really a lot of fun. I just wish the BL bugs hadn't disrupted the sharing so much.
