I never take notes - I can't multitask, so note taking is an exercise in frustration.
I've finished chapters 9 and 10 and relieved to know that the mealworms my chickens think are poultry heroin will not, in fact, ever eat their way out of Henri's, Eggy's or Parma's stomachs. Something I never thought was a worry until I read this. I'm sure if they thought this was a possibility... they wouldn't care, because, poultry heroin.
The snake stuff didn't surprise me, although it's good to know that god awful picture on the internet involving the python and alligator was at least a little bit misleading. The competitive food eating section was interesting though not surprising.

Ah, when I read your post mentioning the ability of different species to eat large quantities of food, I was wondering about the python/alligator picture. If she discusses it, I'll take a peek before taking the book back to the library.
Also, you mean "food" in your last sentence, right?

Oh, food makes so much more sense! I was a bit confused. :S It's morning here.
ROFLMAO... but who wouldn't want to see a competitive foot eating contest? Come on, that would have to be a least as interesting. :D
(Thanks for the catch though - I'll edit that now. hehehe)

Oh, come on. I had to ask. I have lost all sense of where Roach might take the book, so anything was possible! ;P
Ha! You are not wrong! :D
There's always those red gummy feet...
No, no - I'm still chewing through it too! I was waiting until I got home from work (in about 30 mins) to update, but I'm still plugging away at it. I just got distracted the last few days. I hope to get a significant chunk of it read this afternoon. :)
I only finished yesterday.
I just finished the audiobook today. I may skim through a bit of the e-book, as well, just to jot down a few notes.
I'm going to get to this - first I had a reading slump, and then I had to finish the book I finally picked up.
