I don't know if this is the right place, so please pardon any stupidity.

How to I leave a comment on someone's blog post - book review? I would really like some guidelines somewhere. I just would love to thank people leaving comments on my posts as well.
If you're looking in your feed, there are actually two ways. One is on the left hand side of the post, just below their picture, there are three little icons (heart to like it, the arrow thinger to reblog, and then the dialog bubble thing). You can click on the dialog bubble, and it will open up the comments text field below the post. Or, you can scroll to the bottom of the post, and click on the comment bubble thing there.

If you're on someone's blog and scrolling through there, I don't think the buttons are on the left. They're only at the end of the post on the bottom.

I hope this answers your question! :)

HI LIza, I tried it on your entries. The one entry had only the heart icon, which was not clickable. The other entry had both the heart and the bubble - both not clickable. I will try some more.
Just seeing this now. Any luck Margitte?
Getting there :-) How do I change my blog colors and background, etc?

you click on "settings" - the middle icon on the top next to the search bar. Then you switch to the blog settings (the second option). Now just scroll down to TEMPLATES - there's a green icon next to it. In german it says "anpassen" so I guess it's "adjust" in english?! Click on that and a new page appears with a lot of different things you can adjust and one of them is the background and the blog title colour.
I hope my instructions helped you :)

Wow, THANK YOU !!!!!!!
Under settings, blog, edit/customize HTML -- some of my friends have options to display avatar and to set background colors. i do not.

Anyone know why? Or another way to just set background color? (I fudged it by making a solidly colored rectangle and using as background image but that's annoying because ai no longer like that color):

Some of us have created pages where we're collecting BookLikes tutorials.

Debbie's, for example, is here: http://donealrice.booklikes.com/How-To
-- and my own is here: http://themisathena.booklikes.com/bl_formatting

Feel free to bookmark.
Thanks ! I have seen the options and can work with it now. Will have to find time, but I am excited. Thanks for all the help!

No prob. We're all in the same boat -- and I think it's great just how many people are taking the time to write these tutorials in the first place ... that's one of the things I love most about this community. It is incredibly supportive!
