I keep seeing these book cover slide show type posts and I love them, especially for new releases that link to the book so I can easily add it/find out more. How does one create a blog post like that? Is there a tutorial somewhere or is it something simple? (please tell me it's something simple!)
When I imported my books from GR some of them have plain green covers. How do I get them to be the actual book covers without deleting the book and searching for it on BL?

From your bookshelf, click on the green book cover. In the window which then opens up (the one from where you also have the option to write a review or post a URL etc. connected with the book), there is a green "add cover" button below the cover. If you click on that button, you can upload a book cover from your own computer.

Most people are very easygoing about "following" others here -- this is actually one of the things that those of us who have "immigrated" from Goodreads find most appealing about BookLikes! It's also a great way of keeping track of posts and activities you might be interested in, because, yes, your dashboard feed really is where you'll see most of your friends' activities first (as well as getting a notification whenever someone has commented in a discussion you're following, either in a group or in the comments section of a post on which you've commented, too). In fact, you will see little OTHER than your own activities and that of people you're following on your dashboard.

If you're unsure whether someone would dislike the attention of being followed, track them down on GR (assuming you have a profile there as well) and PM them there to be on the safe side. Incidentally, there is an "Everything BookLikes" group on GR where people exchange all sorts of tips and comments on BL, and where there is also a thread entitled Your BookLikes names - Please post your name here, and there is also a corresponding Who Were You on Goodreads? discussion here on BookLikes. (They're both pretty long at this point, but maybe still a worthwhile starting point in tracking people's IDs, because they're not necessarily the same in both places.)

thanks! now I just have to figure out how to get the book covers onto my computer.
How do I find a review that I saved as a draft?
I found it, just was not looking in the right place.

Click on your Blog up at the top.
On my profile type, it's on the right hand side, below my Currently Reading list.
A little helped is needed, if possible, with the book covers.

So I bought yesterday three books, a series, and added them to my shelves but the covers that BookLikes is pulling from Amazon are the old ones in two cases - which are not even sold anymore. On Amazon itself it shows the new covers, and this is driving me a tiny little bonkers. I would prefer the actual covers, especially since those are sexier ones (yeah! yeah! :D) and fit better to eachother too.

Any way I can get the new covers without adding the book itself anew or anything? Right now I feel little off, though. ^^

Thanks in advance.
I'd love to know how to upload/change covers as well -- there are some real low-res versions here and I've got better quality ones. Thanks!

@Miranda Oh, we're sorry. For the time being it's not possible to change covers. To shelve a specific edition, please use ISBN in search box. If it's not working, mail us with book details.

@Unabridged Chick: For now you can add images to books with missing images. However, if you notice wrong cover attached or in wrong size, do let us know. Mail us with book details.

Thanks for updating the covers. Received the email from Kate, and it is perfect. Thanks alot again. :)
Anyone knows if I can make the headline of my blog bigger? So more (than 3) lines could be displayed?
Thankx.
