No worries OB - I won't even use my phone for web stuff unless it's SO important it overshadows how much doing so is going to piss me off. :D

I spend a lot of time trying to blow something up via my cell and then having to slide the screen bck and forth to read lol.
Not sure if I´m asking my question in the right place, but I hope it´s okay if I do so here:

I just finished The Murder of Roger Ackroyd and I´m on the square with "a book that has been made into a movie." Would the episode of the Poirot series with David Suchet count as a movie? It does have movie length, but I´m not sure if that one would fit.
May I start now? I see not everyone is too advanced, and since I'm getting back on the reading saddle after a heafty hiatus, this sounds like good fun to get my some extra motivation
Not sure if this has been asked before but I wanted to confirm before proceeding. Do you have to read a book that fits the square to climb the ladder or do you just have to read a book?

I don’t see why not.

Of course you should start! Not a lot of people have finished.

You need to read a book that fits the square to roll two dice. If it doesn’t I recall you could only roll a dice.

Tannat, for ladder bottom squares, it doesn't matter if the book fits the square or not. Just finish a book & climb the ladder. I realized this quirk for the bottom of the ladder squares after I had already worked out the prompts, so I left them for posterity.

Once you get to the top of the ladder, whether you roll one dice or two to move forward depends on whether your book fits the prompt in that square.

Ok, thanks for clarifying!

[For future games, I suppose an evil quirk could be that you have to read a book that fit the prompt to climb the ladder and otherwise you'd have to roll one die as if the ladder weren't there.]
