That is really weird. I am following your "ferningur" blog and I can see your blog posts if I open that blog -- but not on my dashboard. (I went back all the way to April 11, the date of your last post, and double checked my DB.)
There is no "institutional" blackboarding on BookLikes, and in fact, these days we're happy the site owners are showing just about enough interest to keep the site alive as such; they haven't otherwise made their presence felt (for better
or worse) in well over a year now. So my guess would be that it
must be something in the settings of your blog (next to last item on the drop-down menu at the top of the page).
If after checking (and maybe playing with) your blog settings you still can't get your posts (and comments) to show, the quickest way would probably be to just transfer your posts to a new account.
On a somewhat related note -- and apologies if this sounds in any way redundant, but it can't be explained often enough -- the best way to make sure you're included in the conversation here is to follow a lot ot active accounts. The way this site works, you only ever see posts by the people you follow on your dashboard, and it's in the comments of individual blog posts that most of the discussions take place here (not in discussion groups or other places). By the same token, you're only notified about someone's comment on a blog post (other than your own) if you follow both the author of that post and the person who commented, AND if you have activated "comments - notify" under that post. So it really takes being tied in in a number of ways to be able to join the conversation here.
The members list of the
Booklikes bingo group is a good place to start looking for people to follow -- even if we don't necessarily discuss a lot of things there, that group has still become sort of the social hub of this site. Another good place to start is the list of people who responded to Obsidian Blue's
Booklikes Active Poster post about a month and a half ago. (I see that you reblogged that post from someone who reblogged it in turn, but note that reblogs, on this site, do NOT automatically link back to the original post, so if you are reblogging at all -- which we only do sparingly -- it's important to always trace the chain back to its beginning, (1) to give proper credit to the original poster, and (2) because we typically try to keep responses localized in the comments section of the original post, so as not to have parallel discussions all over the place in the comments sections of umpteen reblogs.)
