Post the book you read to fulfill this letter.
I am thinking of using The Mill River Recluse for this one.
That looks like a good one to use.
I have used The Martian for Ice. It is plenty cold on Mars, though there is no precipitation.

I'm waiting to get that from the library. I've heard some really good things about it.

That was a great review, A Bookish Compulsion!

The cold of winter plays a role in this story.
The Final Descent
Originally, I wanted to do East because it was more apt, but decided on doing The Final Descent, because this one left me cold. Is that all right? :)

"but decided on doing The Final Descent, because this one left me cold"

Lol! I think your interpretation is wonderful.
Blood Royal, by Eric Jaeger.

The original crime and its aftermath occur in a winter so cold that rivers freeze over, and Parisians freeze to death in their houses. (Ah, the "Little Ice Age"!)

I decided to put Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie here. There is a snow storm that causes some issues with the train. It was a good book. I am hopeless with figuring out mysteries. This was my work bookclub pick this month so I can't wait to see what everyone else has to say about it! This was a good one. It's my third Christie book. My favorite of those three is And Then There Were None.

I loved both those Agatha Christie books. They had really good endings, didn't they?

Murder on the Orient Express -- one of my all-time favorite Christies as well. Extremely atmospheric, and she really IS the queen of the surprise ending!
