It is. Solid research, as in all installments of the series, and by and large enjoyable writing. Review is here.

Good for you, Silver.

I see you're making it a harder challenge by only using books you review.

Gone Girl

Very intense.

Codex Born by Jim C Hines

This one has a flashback story journal thing that starts each chapter. Plus there is a scene where the main character literally moves quickly through time.

Moving quickly through time sounds interesting.

Yeah it's a book series where there are trained magicians i guess who can pull things from books. And he pulled the ability to slow time so he was moving normal speed and everyone else was moving super slow. It was an interesting scene, because he couldnt move too fast or his body would just crumble or something.
