The Light Between Oceans by M.L Stedman

The hero in this book is veteran of WWII before he becomes the lighthouse caretaker. This was an interesting book in that I don't read much set in Australia, but at the same time it was kind of a slog to read. It was divided into three parts and the last was probably the most interesting. The concept stressed me out though.

Connelly's hero, LAPD detective Harry Bosch, is himself a Vietnam vet. In this case, he is investigating a 20-year old unsolved murder prominently involving several veterans of the first Gulf War.
