...tamed being the operative word here. I know... I know... I. Can't. Stop. Reading. Fairy. Tale. Romances. I just can't. Well, maybe I will now (for a few books, at least). I have one more of the Eloisa James books left... so we'll see how long it takes for me to crack that one open. I don't know w...

This was much better than A Kiss at Midnight (the first in James's "Fairy Tales" series). The story held together well, the chemistry was strong, the banter was funny and the plot was solid enough to carry the weight of fluff/romance/pathos/humor/etc.In short, a huge improvement.Piers and Linnet are...

I really enjoyed A Kiss At Midnight so this was a series I couldn't wait to continue reading. The first book was a retelling of Cinderella and I don't think I even need to tell you what When Beauty Tamed the Beast is a retelling of. Linnet was the one of the Ton's most beautiful young ladies and w...

In her afterword, Eloisa James said she'd drawn some of her inspiration for this one from House. I see it! Linnet is dumped by a German prince but everyone thinks they already had something going on before she was dumped becaus...

TBR Challenge bookNOT a fan of House, but ended up liking this one more than expected. Emotion didn't click for me until near the end, though. And the dialogue felt very anachronistic, which I usually am not bothered by...

I definitely enjoyed this book much more than I thought I would. The author showed such a depth to her storyline and characters, and yet kept true to the genre and storyline. Definitely would recommend to anyone, not just romance fans.
