Forty-two is the answer to life, the universe and everything, in Douglas Adams’s masterpiece, a surreal and goofy romp through the universe.
Because I think that fans of HHGTTG will also enjoy my new book, Alpha Max: An Existential Romp through an Absurd Multiverse. Now, I’m not saying Alpha Max is as funny HHGTTG, because that’s a pretty high bar.
However, I have some earlier reviewers compare this work to that of Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett and also Kurt Vonnegut. The winner will also receive a signed, first edition copy of my new book!
This is about a boy who's figuring himself out. It's about him being gay but also about many other things to do with growing up. There's a lot of family interaction. Many parts are like one of those 30 minute family sitcom type tv shows. Other parts go a little deeper.

Już w pierwszym zdaniu Barnes oddaje obojętność rodzinnego miasta wobec Flauberta: on nie cierpiał jego mieszczańskości, ono odpłaciło mu się tym samym za jego antymieszczańskość. Mimo to doczekał się w nim pomnika. Barnes liczy pomniki Flauberta we Francji: poza tym w Rouen dwa inne - w nie najlepszym stanie, bo z betonu - stoją w Trouville i Barentin. To i tak wiele, bo Flaubert chciał się rozpłynąć, nie zostawić po sobie żadnych śladów.(...)
