It was an assignment she'd declined––twice, but when she was offered a hefty sum to indulge the wealthy eccentric, she finally gave in. Little did she know that the guests at this party were centuries old and their desires reached far beyond those of a normal partygoer.

the other wants her blood.

Captivated: Stile Series (Book One): Stile: Before - Katherine King,Denise Fowler
Harley spots Kate in the audience at his concert and wants her. She wants nothing to do with him. She has a boyfriend but is drawn to Harley. Drawn together they discover what they have in common and work towards a relationship.

I enjoyed this story. I liked the first person point of view from each perspective as well as the insight into their thoughts and feelings. Watching how the secondary characters saw their relationship gave more insight into their personalities, especially Harley's. I hated the cliffhanger ending. Now I have to get part 2 so I know what happens to them. Ugh!!!

Totally Captivated Side Story: Totally Peeking Under the Sheets Volume 2
Totally Captivated Side Story: Totally Peeking Under the Sheets Volume 2 - Hajin Yoo
I am SO glad Ewon made the right decision this time round. If he did not, I would have thrown him into the deepest sea. Hated the way he takes Mookyul's love for granted especially for the sake of someone so undeserving of his compassion (talking about his irresponsible parents, not the little one).

Anyways, I think the sequels are great too. Adore these two lovey-dovey birds. They are truly a passionate pair. Their love confession is very intense and soul-stirring.

I really loved this
Totally Captivated, Volume 1 - Hajin Yoo

First volume: This is rather silly. But it makes me laugh so much.

Second volume: Ehhhh... that's work harassment. Sue him, now!

Third volume: That sounds absurdly crazy. Why the hell I'm still reading this?

Fourth volume: Cute. Still obsessive/destructive love. But cute.

Fifth volume: Awwwwww. I can't believe this is so pretty *hearts as eyes*.

Fight for Me (Captivated #2) by S.J. Pierce
Fight for Me (The Captivated Series Book 2) - SJ Pierce,Lana Baker
Fight For Me continues with Kat and Gabriel. They were given a choice of whether to move to a hybrid compound which they could never leave, or stay in the 'real' world where they would be constantly looking over their shoulders. Before they can make the decision for themselves, the choice is taken away from them with the knowledge that Liliana (Iris' sister) is now after them. It's not just them that go though, but Sarah, Dawson, Piper, and co. Things are certainly different in the compound and Kat has to face up to some things being different than what she is used to.
This book is more in one place that Captivate Me which just makes it more intense as the drama is concentrated into one space. Kat and Gabe have been through so much, and it hasn't ended yet as Dawson plants a seed of doubt in Kat's mind. Gabe doesn't help his situation by disappearing, although he doesn't actually know what Kat has been told. This just reinforces the notion that actions can be taken the wrong way, even if they are innocent, if trust is an issue and doubts have been raised.
I won't give anything away about anything else in the story, but suffice it to say, things are not as they seem. Full of drama and suspense, Fight For Me is a wonderful addition to the Captivated series. Extremely well-written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow, this was an amazing read and I can't wait to continue with this series.
* I received this book from Xpresso Book Tours in return for a fair and honest review. *
