Dirty Little Secret (Forbidden Desires Book 1) - Kendall Ryan

Dirty Little Secret by Kendall Ryan is an entertaining contemporary romance.  Ms. Ryan has delivered a book that is well-written.  It is in first person, alternating point of view format, not my favorite.  Gavin is part owner of an escort service.  Emma is a librarian that has been fascinated with Gavin since she first saw him at a coffee shop.  Their story is a twisted, emotional rollercoaster.  There is plenty of drama, angst and sex.  My least favorite part of this story is, yes, the dreaded cliff-hanger.  I hate cliff-hangers and would have never read this if I had known ahead of time.  Dirty Little Secret is book 1 of the Forbidden Desires Series.  This is not a complete book and does end in a cliff-hanger.  I'm glad I got this free through bookfunnel, I'd have been even more upset if I had actually paid for it.

I won't be reading any of the other books in the series.

I voluntarily read a complimentary copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Dirty Games
Dirty Games (The Dirty Series) - HelenKay Dimon

I absolutely loved Finn in the first "Dirty" book, so I was excited to read his story. Sadly, this second book in the series left me disappointed. As far as the story goes, there is plenty of action and intrigue, but whether it was just this book or I don't remember as much about the first one as I thought, I had trouble getting into this one. In the beginning, I felt a bit like I was being thrown into the middle of a story rather than the start. That aside, things did start coming together on that front and made for an interesting storyline. However, the romance between Finn and Justin just didn't feel very romantic. Justin's on and off, hot and cold was enough to give a person whiplash. He was like a lovesick puppy one minute and being a complete jerk the next. Plus, there's the added info of a past fling with Finn's brother which added nothing to the story in my humble opinion - other than a bit of an ick factor. I did still like Finn, but got a little aggravated with him being such a pushover with Justin. I spent a good deal of this story hoping that Finn would get tired of Justin's antics, give him a much needed attitude adjustment, and just walk away. That, in itself, doesn't say much for what was supposed to be a romance. So, while I did enjoy the first book, this one leaves me undecided about whether I'll check out whatever is next for the Dirty series.

Her Dirty Little Secret
Her Dirty Little Secret - J.C. Harroway History precedes them. Attraction defines them. Can fate help heal them? Her Dirty Little Secret is not defined by it's title. Ms. Harroway makes sure of that. Rather, it's the story of two strong people afraid to show weakness. A battle of wills is on the horizon, but baggage is the name of the game. Harley is a woman on a mission. After never feeling good enough, she plans to help others overcome what she calls, her shameful secret. The one man that can help her is determined to stand in her way. Jack is a man with an axe to grind. Harley is his greatest regret and his biggest weakness. What begins as revenge, quickly becomes something else. Harley and Jack's path is littered with pride, insecurities and secrets. The wisdom behind the journey is the definition of why J.C. Harroway is a favorite author of mine. We are not defined by weakness, it's the lessons we learn from them that makes us the person we are. Powerful temptation.

Dirty Laundry (Get Dirty #2) by Lauren Landish
Dirty Laundry - Lauren Landish

Lauren Landish manages to pack an abundance of emotions into a small package. Dirty Laundry starts with deception, but the secrets are just the beginning. Looking through the eyes of love we explore betrayal, pain and the start of something special. Elise and Keith remove the rose colored glasses. Loving someone is not always pretty. The heartache is fierce, the sacrifice brutal, but the rewards are endless and worth the risk. If you're looking to fall in lust with love, Dirty Laundry is the read for you.

Sizzler!! Adult Content
Dirty Therapy (A MFM Ménage Romance) (Th... Dirty Therapy (A MFM Ménage Romance) (The Dirty Series Book 1) - Tara Crescent

Dirty Therapy by Tara Crescent is a fairly short read, perfect for those with limited reading time.  It is a M/F/M menage book though, so it may not be for everyone.  Ms. Crescent has delivered a well-written book.  The characters are fantastic and lovable.  Mia finds her fiance of two hours having sex with someone else.  Ben and Landon are sex therapists.  Their story is packed with drama, humor, smokin' hot sex and a bit of suspense.  I enjoyed reading Dirty Therapy and look forward to reading more from Tara Crescent in the future.  Dirty Therapy is book 1 of the Dirty Series but can be read as a standalone.  This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
