Erich Fried... einfach toll

Viele kennen das Gedicht "Was es ist" von Erich Fried. Aber weniger berühmt sind seine politischen Gedichte. Auch mir sagen seine Liebesgedichte mehr zu, aber dennoch bin ich immer wieder von Frieds Sprachgewalt beeindruckt. Für mich ein Meister seines Fachs und immer wieder lesbar, bedenkenswert und ja, Futter für die Seele, für alle Untiefen in uns.

Juhu, welch schöne Frage. Einige Leser meiner Beiträge werden jetzt sicherlich Vermutungen anstellen oder es sogar schon wissen... 

Mein Lieblingsautor in Sachen Poesie ist Erich Fried. Ich liebe seine Gedichte und seien klare und direkte Ausdrucksweise, wenn er alles Zwischenmenschliche beschreibt. Es ist einfach berührend und etwas ganz Besonderes.

 

Mein Lieblingsautor in Sachen Belletristik ist ganz klar Bernhard Schlink. Der Vorleser war mein erstes Buch von ihm und seither habe ich sehr viele seiner Bücher gelesen. Mein absolutes Lieblingsbuch von ihm ist Liebesfluchten. Eine Sammlung von Kurzgeschichten rund um das Thema Liebe, Eifersucht und dergleichen Gefühlsausbrüche. Ich hab ein Faible für seine Art des Schreibens, die vielleicht etwas altbacken wirkt oder zumindest so, dass man normalerweise nicht von einem spritzigen oder leicht zu lesenden Buch spricht, aber mir gefällt seine Ausdrucksweise, weil sie nicht aalglatt ist und ich nicht über schöne sprachliche Bilder einfach so hinweglesen kann. Nein, sein Ausdruck und Stil sind wirklich das - Ausdruck und Stil! Auch fühle ich mich bei seinen Beschreibungen von Gefühlen oder auch Sex nicht unangenehm berührt, sondern in meinem Fühlen und Denken ernst genommen, ja sogar wahrgenommen. Das ist mir so noch nicht wieder untergekommen. 

Von Bernhard Schlink habe ich Der Vorleser, Sommerlügen, Das Wochenende, Die Heimkehr, Liebesfluchten und auch die die Krimireihe um den Detektiv Selb gelesen. Einfach tolle Bücher. 

When I wrote an answer to the question “Discuss your thoughts on sentimentality in literature. When is emotion in literature effective and when is it superfluous?”, I used a poem by Pablo Neruda as my main example, I could quite easily have used an example by Erich Fried. The crux of my argument was that although anything written was reliant on artifice to convince the reader of it’s veracity, it then becomes how you use it, that to make it work it must be like sleight of hand, so all you see is the magic and not some fool playing with their hands.
