Biscuit -Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving, Biscuit! - Alyssa Satin Capucilli,Pat Schories

This is a really simple book that has flaps on the inside. Biscuit has a lot of books that coincide with many holidays and activities. This would be fun to read to a kindergarten or first grade class before we got out for Thanksgiving and to teach about why we have Thanksgiving. I have a fun "Thankful" turkey activity that would work perfectly with this book. It would give the students a way to take home and share with their parents what they are thankful for.
