The Magic of Math: Solving for x and Figuring Out Why
The Magic of Math: Solving for x and Fig... The Magic of Math: Solving for x and Figuring Out Why - Benjamin Arthur Quarles I knew most of the things in this book, but it's definitely a good read if you enjoy math. And there are puns throughout, which is either a good or bad thing, depending on who you are as a person.

The D.U.F.F by Kody Keplinger
The DUFF: Designated Ugly Fat Friend - Kody Keplinger

I really enjoyed this book. I liked the characters, it was a quick read (just what I needed because of school ugh!) and I liked the message. It kept me interested- I just wanted to know what was going to happen to the characters- and that's what makes a good book to me.

This read much more like the outline of a good story than an actual story. It spans several years of time and glosses over months and years passing with jarring transitions like "it was several months before i saw him again."

I'd anticipated a fun, light-hearted gfy/ofy between the jock and the drama-geek. I got instead emotionless telling of things that happened to Avery rather than getting to see those things happen to him.

It's difficult to do justice to such a long-term development of a relationship in 30 pages.

If it were more fleshed-out and detailed, the story would actually be a great one. But as it is, it's just okay.
