ARC REVIEW Forever Broken by Carrie Anne Ryan
Forever Broken (Talon Pack, #9)Talon Pack #9, The final book of the series! This makes me sad even though I know she's not done with this world and she plans to come back at some future point this was the genre I fell in love with her writing way back in the beginning with The Redwood Pack. So it is sad for me to see the characters go I'm happy they all have HEAs at least for the time being.

Cheyenne Liles is the last of her friends to get something more than Friend of the Pack status. She was ready to move on with her life move away and start again somewhere new until the bastard Alpha Leader of the Aspen Pack kidnaps her and starts torturing her. After he leaves her for dead something happens that leads up to a chain of events that changes everything.

Max was broken, not the same shifter he once was, no longer the happy one always ready with a joke not letting the packs horrible past get to him. No one comes away from an epic battle without some damage and due to the events in the last story arc Max was forever changed. He never thought he could find his mate and be a good mate and it never even registered that his attraction to Cheyenne might be something more until her life was on the line and then suddenly the bond was there. With Cheyenne surviving they had some clue as to what their enemy was up to but nothing prepared them for him actually doing it.

Overall, this was one hell of a conclusion and one I didn't expect. I kept distracting myself at the end of the book because I was delaying the inevitable, I really did not want this to end. It was an emotional and freaking HOT romance Max and Cheyenne finding out how they fit together and how together they fit with the pack. I love how CAR writes a battle scene how it's total chaos but her writing isn't it just portrays the chaos and the violence, it's edge of your seat, holding your breath, and reading as fast as you can action.

A Beta's Haven (Redwood Pack)
A Beta's Haven - Carrie Ann Ryan I like this series and this book but I have one itty-bitty little problem, at 13% it says: Maddox , his twin brother, was Omega - umm I thought Maddox and North were the twin brothers?

4.5 moons - "An Alpha's Path" by Carrie Ann Ryan
An Alpha's Path - Carrie Ann Ryan

This is my first book I’ve read from Carrie Ann Ryan and now I’m kicking myself in the butt for not reading any of her books sooner.  I need to make time to read the other books in the series because An Alpha’s Path already hooked me.  I have been reading too many Contemporary Romance and New Adult books and I needed a PNR book to gain my interest again.  An Alpha’s Path definitely did the trick.

In An Alpha’s Path is the first book in the Redwood Pack Series, and we’re introduced to Melanie who is a chemist.  Her friends think she needs to get away from her lab for a while and have some fun.  I definitely believe she needed this fun due to how Carrie Ann Ryan wrote her.  Melanie was definitely serious about her work and she definitely needed something to open her up.  She tended to take life too seriously and I definitely was rooting for her to have some fun.  Her friends end up setting her up with a blind date and they want her to let loose with her blind date.

Kade is over one hundred years older and has been searching for his mate for a while. He is beyond sexy the minute he is introduced in the book and I definitely was loving his alpha ways. =)  He is set up by his brother to go out on a blind date because his brother says he needs to get over his last lover and to let loose.  He reminds me of someone….hmmm?

Both Melanie and Kade have an instant connection in the story due their personalities, and I loved how Carrie Ann Ryan got them together eventually at the end.  It wasn’t easy, but that is because the story had some major drama in it.  For being a short novella I definitely enjoyed reading it. I need more though after reading it and can’t wait to find some time to read the rest of the series back to back.  =)

I give this book 4.5 moons and recommend it to readers out there that love PNR, and want a quick read before bed or just a quick read any time. =)

Hidden Destiny (Redwood Pack)
Hidden Destiny (Redwood Pack, #6) - Carrie Ann Ryan Latent wolf, Lexi Anderson, has become a recent member of the Redwood pack after being exiled from the Talon pack for a fault not her own. She was raped by Corbin Reyes, the new alpha of the central pack, leaving her with a son, Parker, and half a mating bond.

North Jamenson is the last of the brothers without a mate. He knows that the newest member of the Redwood pack, Lexi, is his. He also knows that it is prophesied that he is destined to kill Corbin Reyes. Problem is the prophecy didn’t say whether or not he will survive.

This was my favorite book in the series so far. The story keeps getting better.

Lexi and North complement each other well and overcome obstacles. They stick it out together even though they cannot be bonded as long as Corbin is alive.

I love that North accepts Parker as his son despite him being the son of his pack’s enemy. He assures him that everyone will accept him regardless.

I also appreciate that characters from the previous books are prevalent through the book. Carrie Ann Ryan does a fantastic job in the character development, making it easy to distinguish between characters through the dialog.

I enjoyed the side story of Parker trying to set up his uncle Logan with North’s sister Cailin. I Can’t wait to read about the results of Parker’s match making skills in Fighting Fate. I’m sad there is only one more full-length book left. At least, we can look forward to the remaining novellas, and it is good thing I’m a re-reader. I think the books would be even better the second time around.

Hidden Destiny (Redwood Pack, #6)
Hidden Destiny (Redwood Pack, #6) - Carrie Ann Ryan Love, love, love this series!!! I was more than ready for North and Lexi after finishing the last book. This was so worth all the waiting!!!

It is always the quiet ones you have to watch out for, North is really quite delicious!! I expected him to be deep and slightly less angsty than his twin Maddox. He does not disappoint! Lexi is a perfect mate for him. I loved their whole dynamic, it never works when they try to fight the lust!!

As always, I had a box of tissues ready for reading, Ms Ryan has been know to make me ugly cry, a time or two. This is no exception, plenty of emotional points, she gets me everytime. We have spent so much time with this family, they are easily old friends. I will be very sad when the Redwood Pack books finish. Still we have Cailin and Lance to get a HEA.

Plenty of steamy smexy action, oh yeah, a girl could use a cold shower. I loved all the delicious hot and heavy action. There is some very serious yummy wicked action going on!! Oh yes, please , give me more Sir!!

Great story, the pace was terrific and I could not put it down!! The story snags you from beginning to end. Seriously, I will be so sad when this series wraps up! Think happy thoughts, she promised to write the kids stories next, Just breath!

Disclosure - I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions and ratings are my own.
