Alien General's Baby Zoran Warriors) by Luna Hunter Review
Alien General's Baby (Scifi Alien Romance) (Zoran Warriors) - Luna Hunter

Dating … an alien concept
Jillian Archer has devoted her life to science, and it doesn’t leave much time for anything else. She’s orbiting Earth on the space station Vonnegut when her life is turned upside down by the Zoran.

You want to show me what?
The silver-skinned alien warriors send a delegation to the space station, and Jillian soon finds herself on an intergalactic science exchange with growly General Vinz -- but it’s not research the tall, sexy alpha male wants to share with her.

The General can’t resist the curvy, feisty human woman with thick brown curls and hazelnut eyes, so different from the females on his home planet. He just has to convince her to give him a chance.

A DNA dilemma
When Jillian gets pregnant, she and Vinz discover the Zoran High Command’s sinister plot. On top of that, Jillian learns that her niece is ill. Can she and her alien lover act in time to rescue the Zoran people, the Earth, and their own little family?

Alien General's Bride (Brion Brides, #3) by Vi Voxley
Alien General's Bride: SciFi Alien Romance (Brion Brides) - Vi Voxley

Isolde Fenner had big dreams, but surprisingly enough, the universe was even bigger. Curvy and confident, she set out on her first intergalactic mission as a scientist from Earth, studying alien species. But she didn't even get to step foot on her shuttle when everything was turned upside down. The most powerful man in the universe wanted her. Her. And despite knowing better, she wanted him too. No one says no to the general. But she can't let him know that.

Diego Grothan is undefeated. Body, mind, soul - there is no one stronger than the Brion general, one of the most feared men in the universe. But even he finds himself on the brink of destruction when a human woman calls to him like nothing else. She is his. She simply doesn't know it yet. Not only is it unthinkable to want a human, but it might just be the push his enemies need to come for him. But Diego Grothan is prepared. Always.

Thrust into intrigue, war and hunted by enemies hiding behind veils, Diego must prove himself not only to his new bride, but the galaxy at large. It is no easy feat, but he is, after all, undefeated...

Will Isolde give into the mouthwateringly hot and equally as ferocious alien general or will fate make the decision for her?

Review

While the reluctance of the heroine seemed was annoying at times in terms of not communicating clearly a way to negotiate between the hero's culture and her culture and the villain plot was far fetched at times,  overall this was an engaging romance with good world building, action, adventure and a sweet romance.

Alien General's Chosen (Brion Brides, #4) by Vi Voxley Review
Alien General's Chosen: SciFi Alien Romance (Brion Brides) - Vi Voxley

Leiya has a secret. Trouble is, even she doesn't know it. One of the most promising singers Briolina has to offer, no one could know that the bright star is actually a human, a Terran from Earth. But when the most dangerous Brion in the universe marks her as his own, Leiya has more than hidden secrets to worry about. She thought she was ready for the love of her life, but the general is far more than she could have been prepared for! And no one's supposed to deny their chosen... but what if she has compelling reasons to do so, even if her body can't fathom the idea?

Faren is not a simple man. Seemingly devoid of emotions, rational to a fault, he is a monster on the battlegrounds and his reputation far precedes him. But after losing his brother, the only demon who could match him, Faren is aimless. When the binding hits him like a spear to the chest, making him recognize the innocent, curvy Leiya as his true mate, he finally sees a glimmer of a purpose. A goal. Her safety, her heart, and her body.

He will have her, the right way, even if it kills him and everyone around him. Nothing could stop the Monster of Briolina. But it seems like the whole universe is going to try like hell, both to get him as well as kill the human woman he has sworn his heart to. The universe doesn't know the power of an alien general who can only be controlled by the woman he loves...

Will Leiya trust to love the man who is the epitome of everything she despises, or will fate have to make the decision for her?

Review

I was so looking forward to this one from reading about the hero in the other books of the series.

I liked the idea of opposites attract as well.

However, the heroine's lack of self and other awareness as well as the tone of her internal dialogue made this book not work for me at all.

So sad.

Alien General's Beloved by Vi Voxley Review
Alien General's Beloved: SciFi Alien Romance (Brion Brides) - Vi Voxley

Only one general can stand between an ancient nightmare and the safety of his people...

This is a 100 k full scifi romance novel featuring a BBW human heroine and a growly alpha male Brion warrior general. It can and should be read as a standalone and has a guaranteed HEA ending! Grab it now for 99 Cents for a limited time!

Lana Cormac is a woman with a mission. As the captain of a scouting vessel for the Galactic Union, the curvy woman has always put her crew first and herself second. But when two men more myth than reality bursts into her life, she needs to step back and wonder whether she's been doing things the wrong way all along. Stuck between two Brion generals, both convinced that she can be his and only his, Lana needs to walk a tightrope between keeping a fleet of innocent people alive while subsequently coming to grips with what fate has in store for her.

Could it truly be a Brion general and if so, couldn't he have picked a less horrible time to show up!?

Corden is a Brion general unlike any other. He is the guardian, the keeper of order for all of the generals, though there are few who know this. Defeat is not a word he recognizes, yet when something out of the darkness of Brion culture comes back to haunt him, even Corden needs to consider the option. But what he isn't prepared for is that his greatest enemy might come from within, even when the worst nightmare he could imagine is staring him in the eye.

With Lana's heart and safety on the line, Corden has no option but to win. Even the psychotic fervor of a general long thought dead and gone cannot stand in his way, especially when the man wants to claim Corden's chosen!

Will Lana learn to consider the needs of her own heart and will Corden save not only her and the universe, but himself as well?

Review

This is an action packed Science Fiction Romance with one of the best bad guys I have read in a long time.

The heroine is wonderful. She embodies what a Captain of a Ship should be. The hero is a great warrior. The task before them is almost impossible. Good stuff.

Mix in great world building and fine romance, we have very good read.

Enjoy it despite the awful title.

Free through Kindle Unlimited.

Review of "After Dark (Ghost Hunters #1)" by Jayne Castle (aka Jayne Ann Krentz)
After Dark - Jayne Castle,Jayne Ann Krentz

Moving review from amazon.

Review Text:

I am a big fan of the previous Jayne Castle books (Zinnia, Orchid, Amaryrillis, and Charmed) and was delighted to spot a new entry. I very much enjoyed this book and it had a lively paced plot.

As a series fan, I found the additional material on other aspects of Harmony's culture and the ruins left by the mysterious aliens enjoyable--a little more into the underside/lower-society. The female lead was well-fleshed out and engaged your intrest/sympathy. The pet dust bunny was a good entry into the flora/fauna/characters inhabiting Harmony.
