ARC REVIEW Dangerously Involved by Sidney Bristol
Dangerously Involved (Aegis Group Lepta Team, #2)Aegis Group Lepta Team #2, Loved these two! Nolan and Yvonne both married to their work had one hot, drunken night in Vegas and now they are faced with working together. Yvonne's family is best known for its anti-virus program and Yvonne has worked hard to live up to her family's expectations. Krieger family has expanded their business to a government contract the DoD contracted Aegis to protect the Krieger family on their trip to Japan for a conference. Lepta Team is use to high profile clients, Nolan is surprised to find his newest asset is also the girl who rocked his world in Vegas and then disappeared. She disappeared in part because he had been calling her the wrong name all night and then the following morning he practically through her out of the hotel room. Yvonne isn't to happy about Nolan being her bodyguard but once they clear the air about what happened the chemistry is off the charts.

The complications start when Yvonne's little brother gets into trouble and they not only have to deal with the threat of corporate espionage they have to deal with whatever trouble he found himself in and they are fleeing Japan. But even back on US soil they are dealing with a reluctant family and an unknown threat. Nolan and Yvonne are hot they have more in common than it first appears. I loved the pacing of the book and Bristol always has some kickass action. I love the dynamic between Nolan and Yvonne.

Overall, it is a great read. I love the whole Aegis series. I love how the problem didn't just come from one side it seemed like the whole conflict had a domino effect. It was a great story and a really hot romance.

ARC REVIEW Summer of Love by Sidney Bristol
The Love Barn #2, I'm loving the Lively's. The only weddings Benjamin Lively is worried about are the ones that take place at his families wedding venue The Love Barn. Benji is enjoying life and has no plans to settle down himself anytime soon that is until he sees Dixie again. Dixie Applewhite is finally free from her husband after a grueling two year long divorce she plans to make up for lost time and she decides a summer fling with her secret high school crush Benji is just the thing she needs.

Benji has had a crush on Dixie since high school but he respected that she was in a relationship with someone else. Dixie was with Jace since she was 13 and she always thought him her Prince Charming until he wasn't any more. Dixie realized he was controlling and she had changed so much about herself to please him and his mother; it wasn't worth it anymore she wanted to be back in charge of her life. Being single for the first time in forever Dixie wasn't ready for a full fledged relationship so Benji and her started with just friendship until the sexual tension couldn't be ignored. Benji's problem was that he was already half in love with Dixie and the longer they are together the more the fling becomes something real.

Overall, this was a good read. It's written in third person mainly from over the shoulder of Benji and Dixie.I love Sidney Bristol's writing she really brings her characters to life and you empathize with them so much. That little Texas town of Ransom has become so real for me. Elizabeth better get her own HEA, I don't care what series it's in she just needs one! I liked the progression of the relationship and how stubborn Dixie was. I loved the side story with Garth, Benji's older brother, that really showed how much a person, ie. Benji, can mature when they need to. The little tease about Garth and the next book at the end was nice, I was hoping that was going to happen so I can't wait for that book.

Fantastic Suspense!
Dangerous in Love (Aegis Group Alpha Tea... Dangerous in Love (Aegis Group Alpha Team Book 1) - Sidney Bristol

Dangerous In Love by Sidney Bristol is a phenomenal romantic suspense.  Ms. Bristol has delivered a well-written book and furnished it with outstanding, lovable characters.  Lacey is a free spirit backpacking and video blogging her adventure when she is kidnapped.  Shane is part of the Aegis Group and his team is tasked with the job of rescuing a married couple.  When they find Lacey with the couple, they rescue her also.  Shane and Lacey's story is packed with drama, action, humor, suspense and sexy bits.  I enjoyed every page of this fantastic book and look forward to reading more from Sidney Bristol in the future.  Dangerous In Love is book 1 of the Aegis Group Alpha Team Series but can be read as a standalone.  This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Worth Checking Out
Some Like It Geek: A Really Big Set of Romances - Zoe York,Angela Quarles,Sidney Bristol,C. Jordan,Clara Leigh,Ally Decker,Olivia Devon

This is a compilation stories centered around the theme of geeks. As with most compiliations, there were some really good stories and some not so good stories. Either way, it’s worth reading as the good stories make up for the not so good stories. I’ve included reviews of several of the stories.

-Fall Quiet by Zoe York - 5 stars

Navy SEAL Quinn Perry gets a second chance to impress Army Sergeant Leah Sanders when he sees her on a Caribbean island.

I’ve read books by this author before and, while I’ve really liked them, this one, Whew! While it wasn’t really with the geek theme, I loved the kink theme!! Very few authors have the woman in charge and I absolutely loved it.

-To Score or Not to Score by Angela Quarles - 5 stars

Pepper has just moved back to her hometown and has been set up on a blind date by her best friend. What she doesn’t know is that the man that she thinks is her blind date is actually her old nemesis from high school, Luke.

This was my favorite story in the collection. It took awhile, but beyond the immense attraction, they each found they had a lot in common and were able to heal.

-The Adorkable Girl and the Geek by Sidney Bristol - 1 star

Nate and Cara have been best friends since high school and they’ve both been secretly in love with each other for years. This time when Cara comes to visits, things change.

I really didn’t like this book. Nate’s character wasn’t bad, but I didn’t like Cara at all. I’m not sure how she managed to survive life.

**I voluntarily read and reviewed this book
