Say it Louder (Tattoo Thief #4) by Heidi Joy Tretheway
Say it Louder (Tattoo Thief) (Volume 4) - Heidi Joy Tretheway

   syns

Dave faces an ultimatum—dump his toxic girlfriend Kristina or break up his band Tattoo Thief. But Kristina won’t go quietly. She has enough dirt to ruin each member of the band, and enough on Dave to send him to jail. This stinking, bloody threat has haunted him for years. As Dave hangs in limbo, a new star emerges: Willa, dubbed “The Parking Lot Picasso” by the modern art world. When a magazine feature catapults her to sudden fame, Dave helps her cope with the spotlight when all she’s ever known is the shadows. Life as a runaway jaded Willa, and it leaves her deeply in doubt of her fifteen minutes of fame. Nothing good lasts forever. Especially not love. It seems like everyone wants a piece of Willa now. When their music and art worlds collide, Dave's the one person who isn’t trying to take something from Willa, and who might have something to give. As Dave’s secret is laid bare, a mystery unravels, pointing to his guilt and its dangerous intersection with Willa’s old life on the streets. Both must risk their success and the intense connection to each other to prevent their pasts from defining their future.

my though

I was super excited when I saw that after almost two years, we finally getting another Tattoo Thief book. Dave’s Story. Each book in the series is a standalone but it doesn’t hurt to have read the other books in the series. And not only because it helps to get to know all the characters and the band buy they all are fantastic and I loved each book in the series. This book of course was no different and I think I so far this was one my favorite books out of all of them ... for now. I pretty much read the book in one sitting, I just couldn’t put it down. I really enjoyed Dave and Willa so much. This book was raw, emotional, sweet and sexy all at once. In the beginning I thought Dave was really whiney and I was super excited when Willa called him out on it. I really enjoyed Dave once he started hanging with Willa and what he became. I LOVED Willa, her backstory and her attitude. Loved them both but together they simply just perfect for each other and balance each other out so perfectly. Dave ways struggling with his past and Kristina, but also with his part in the band, this will be solved in this book and I really liked the outcome. Overall, I really absolutely loved this book and the ending was just beautiful. I may or may not have teared up reading it. I rate this book a full 5 ★ and I can NOT wait to read Ryan’s story Skip a Beat.

Revenge Bound (Tattoo Thief #3) by Heidi Joy Tretheway
Revenge Bound - Heidi Joy Tretheway

Synopsis:

On the Internet, secrets never die…

Violet can’t imagine anything worse than having her very private, very naked photos strewn across the Internet.

Until they multiply like a virus.

With her name, address, and phone number attached.

And her boss finds out. And a stalker finds her.

Violet’s refuge is a rock star known for going through groupies faster than guitar picks. Letting Jayce get close enough to protect her exposes her secrets—and her heart—to a man whose celebrity could ruin her.

That’s because being a nobody is the one thing that keeps Violet’s photos from making headlines. And it’s the reason she can never fall for a rock star.

Secrets spread like wildfire when a celebrity fans the flames.

My thoughts:

This is the third book in the Tattoo Thief series and I got it soon after finishing up the Tyler& Stella book. I couldn’t wait to see what was in store for Violet and Jayce and I was not disappointed.

What I really liked about this book compared to the first two was that we get both POVs, Tyler’s and Violet’s. That was something we didn’t get in other two books.

We met Violet first in Tyler& Stella and she seemed rather shy and sad. Now we find out why that is. After her ex posted nude pictures on a revenge porn site her life is turned upside down. And because he added her name, address and phone number they can find her easy. That is how she ends up getting a really persisting stalker. Now she has to deal with that I really liked Violet and really felt bad for her but sometimes she got on my nerves. Luckily she later snaps out of it and take the bull by the horn.

And we have Jayce, the band bad boy playboy who really is a playboy but that all changed once he met Violet and he is not quite sure how to handle his feelings for her at first . But he is there for Violet and protects her form the stalker. All while also dealing with the band that has other issues going on and is possible splitting up.

Of course we see the other couples in this book: Gavin and Beryl and Tyler and Stella, which was a nice.

The one person I disliked in book one and even more disliked in book two and now really hate was Kristina. Someone needs to take that woman out.

I hear there is one more coming but I don’t know when but what I do know is that when it comes out I’m so buying it .

If you like contemporary romance, you defiantly should look into these books there are a great read .

I will rate this book at 4 ★

Tyler & Stella (Tattoo Thief #2) by Heidi Joy Tretheway
Tyler & Stella - Heidi Joy Tretheway

Synopsis:

Stella Ramsey always says bad boys can’t break your heart. They don’t call, don’t cuddle and don’t send flowers—but what do you expect? No strings means no regrets.

When the biggest story of her fledgling music journalism career nearly ruins her relationship with her best friend, Stella has one chance to redeem herself. She promises the bassist for the rock band Tattoo Thief anything in exchange for behind-the-scenes access. But Tyler doesn’t want anything. He wants everything—and that’s more than Stella is prepared to give.

When Tyler’s explosive secret thrusts Stella into the media spotlight, she must choose between selling the story and telling the truth—and exposing the truth about herself.

My thoughts:

I really liked the first book Tattoo Thief but I like this one even better. I liked everything about this book, its characters, story, world building just everything also like that we got a closer look at the band and how they are with each other. Since we didn’t get a lot of that in the last book.

Like I said in my last review about Tattoo Thief, I didn’t care much for Stella but this book made me like her.. a lot.  That doesn’t excuse the things she done but forgiven and even a little understood from where she stood.

I really did learn to like her, the more I got to know of her and her past , flaws and all. Though she had a few moments in the book where she deserved a nice “wake up “shake.

She really grew into her new role even if she didn’t know yet, what the role is. I felt bad for her when dealing with all the paparazzi but she did great.

Tyler, man what can I say about Tyler? He was a little confusing at first just by his action but that changed. I really did enjoy him and his story. You just can't help yourself and love him.

We met Violet in this book and I like her already and I cannot wait to read the next book about her and Jayce. Who is also an interesting character who seems to be a playboy through and through , but I have a feeling there is much more to him.

Overall, I couldn’t put his book down and finished it in one sitting and I rate it at 4 ½
