Bait by Viola Grace Review
Bait - Viola Grace

Billie first met the love of her life when she was working for the Alliance, but he transferred from her unit, and he was out of her life. Two years later, she is on an assignment to recruit more Enforcers of the Oefric species. Their instincts, shifting abilities and love of order make them ideal officers.

Arcros knew that he could not remain in the same unit as his Terran. He wouldn’t be able to control himself if she was near him and that was a dereliction of duty he was not going to court. Three years later, his people finally admit that he has already chosen his mate and he is allowed to send for her. The Alliance wants twenty warriors in exchange for the woman, and Arcros believes that he is getting the best part of that deal.

I don't tend to like reunion romance but this one worked for me because of culture elements. A nice read for a lazy afternoon.

Intensity Viola Grace Review
Intensity - Viola Grace

Setting up orbital stations was lonely, but not a horrible occupation. Raine has spent years organizing computers and systems to work in harmony, but when she is sent to a spa to wait for her ride she learns that work is not the only pleasure in life. Orell has waited for her for centuries and he is not going to let a little thing like a Terran obsession with work get in the way of him claiming his true mate. He will use every amenity at the spa to wear her down and then he will swoop in for the kill, so to speak. What is a little death amongst friends and lovers

While the chemistry between the leads is a bit lacking, I like the heroine and her workaholic ways a great deal. She makes the short story fun.

This short stories is great for those who have been reading the series as it reveals the origin of one of the species. We also get a poly mating and a  AI. Good stuff.

Keen (Terran Times Second Wave Book 3) by Viola Grace Review
Keen (Terran Times Second Wave) - Viola Grace

Being invited into the Alliance was a shock for Kyna. She was wanted for an archivist assignment on a far-off world that needed her…specifically. Kee gets an implant that allows her instant access to generations of information, and she heads off to Jhenno for her new life in one of the most comprehensive archives in history.

When a co-worker tries to take her life, he forces the hand of her would-be suitor, and for the first time ever, Kee faces a dragon.

Jherin has been asleep for a few thousand years. He was thrown back in time to be at the right place at the right time to find his mate; he just missed the mark. When the mind of his mate begins to dim, he can’t spend time waiting for a long courtship.

Who doesn't love librarians and dragon shifter? A nice quick read with a hint of danger and a fated romance.
