Who Wants to Die: Part 2!

I need character names for the Scare Rows sequels I'm working on. If you would like to be murdered or simply included in LADIES OF THE GOURD or CHURCH O' THE LANTERN, please submit your name in the comment section below.

If you would, state in your comment whether or not you would like your character to be killed, maimed, or play an inconsequential supporting/background role. The character will share your name only, and will not be based on the real life you.

Note: I will not be responsible for corn cobs being inserted in various orifices resulting in pregnancies involving squash and/or other vegetation. Thank you for your cooperation.

You can expect both novelettes sometime next year. :)

Cover Fun

While I won't be using this cover (the story is a part of bigger project), I thought I would have some fun with photoshop this evening.

Another Brief Look at "The Scare Rows", by Edward Lorn

Coming this Fall...

On Halloween, the town of Bay’s End becomes a living thing. The streets thrum with activity. The wind carries the joyful cries and jovial screams of the young and old alike. Wood smoke scents the air, and the temperature rises with body heat and good cheer. Children and teenagers dress up as their favorite tropes and characters, and even some of the adults join in on the fun. There is no Trunk or Treat, forThe End has not a single church. It’s not a godless community; there is simply no need for the promise of Hell to make the residents of this quiet township feel the need to do good and love their neighbors. Throughout the years, The End has seen tragedy abundant, but it has also known happy times. These happy times are what make Bay’s End the perfect community for those seeking that last shred of small town Americana. The final resting place of bake sales and lemonade stands. Community functions and annual bonfires. Fireworks at Bachman High on the Fourth. Free turkeys from Peaton Grocery around Thanksgiving. A tree in the town square at Christmas, decorated by the young men of the Bay’s End Home for Boys. It is the childhood home of author Trey Franklin. The world renown horror scribe even visits from time to time. His book signings are holidays unto themselves. Yes, The End is great place to live. But it is also a good place to forget.
