Imagine a book.
Easy. Of course it's a Harry Potter one. I went with the complete edition as it was easier in Paint - voilá:
LOL - close enough!
1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
In Netherlands, a small town called Nijmegen.
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
This year I decided to not plan ahead my stack pile - just read.
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
They are called "Pindarotsjes" and they are basically nuts with a chocolate coating- they are delicious!
4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
Espresso lover bibliophile!
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
This is my third readathon but the only one so far that I have decided to read the full 24 hours! We'll see how this works! The different thing will be that I do not have a specific list of books I want to read today. I will try to finish some of the books I had on my 'currently reading' shelf for too long!
Best of luck to all participating!
I decided to join in the fun too! And I'm very lucky too as today appears to be a roll day!!
Going over numerous posts, I caved to this game, which is both well thought and a very fun way to tackle our neverending TBRs!
A few links first (more for me to keep my posts organized)
And of course the board:
Dice used found here.
And behold my adorable "pawn":
(I am addicted to these cuties!)
I went with a gif to describe each move as it seemed easier at first - it ended up taking way too much time. The end result was satisfying though, so I might keep it up!
AudiobookSync's Eighth Season has finally begun!
✒ Keep in mind that the titles are available only within a specific time frame - so hurry!
Debut author Dawn Kurtagich is dead on in this terrifying psychological thriller!
Over two decades have passed since the fire at Elmbridge High, an inferno that took the lives of five teenagers. Not much was known about the events leading up to the tragedy - only that one student, Carly Johnson, vanished without a trace...
...until a diary is found hidden in the ruins.
But the diary, badly scorched, does not belong to Carly Johnson. It belongs to Kaitlyn Johnson, a girl who shouldn't exist. Who was Kaitlyn? Why did she come out only at night? What is her connection to Carly?
The case has been reopened. Police records are being reexamined: psychiatric reports, video footage, text messages, e-mails.
And the diary.
The diary that paints a much more sinister version of events than was ever made publicly known.
