Mary is a case when she feels like someone is following her. But she cannot tell who at the moment. Once she sees her friend's husband talking to Colleen. She thinks the worse of her best friend's husband. 

On her way out, she confronts a man see that is following her. When she does, he wants her to look into his brother case that is that Ben Ali is not a killer. 

There seems to be some corruption going on in the NYPD in the year of 1894. Who does all the cover-up? Who the Killer of more than a dozen woman. 

Looks like Mary get pulled into an investigation that has to do with Sage Bombing and as she gets more into the case of Ben Ali she finds more clues and finding the killer. Who is Jack the Ripper, the killer? 

You will be turning the page to find out. Have you read the book you learn about that time period in NY? We even meet Teddy Roosevelt before he becomes President of United States and the reason why or at least partly. 

If you are a historical Fiction fan you will enjoy this book. It a Mystery and part historical so you will get both if you are a fan of both or one or the other.

This book fits into so many genres: dystopia, fantasy, science fiction, and I could add more. This is definitely found this interesting and there was a lot going on. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something different then the normal. This is definitely intended for adults.

In this we a have a city that is clnstantly being terrorized by two dragons. The dragons have been targeting this city for a very long time. Some people have fled, others have chose to stick it out. In this world the wealthy are “safe” in their fancy homes in the outskirts of the city. In the city it is constant chaos not only because of the dragons, but also gangs.

I dislike all three of the main characters, but i think it is supposed to be this way.

There is so much in this book I seriously wonder why it wasn’t a series instead of a single installment.

I enjoyed this. The idea behind it is a good one. Each addition is not what it initially seems at first glance, hidden alternative messages aol with multiple tranlations and interpretations. 

I do feel here needed to be more content. Maybe a small description of each flyer ncluded giving the .eaning the author wished to convey. I do give props for the creativity, and I feel there are those out there who would get a lot more out of this then I.

When I was eleven years old, the big Sumatra earthquake and following tsunami on Boxing day shook the world with its devastating power. However, it also shook my interest into geology and tectonics. So when I came across The Great Quake: How the Biggest Earthquake in North America Changed Our Understanding of the Planet I was immediately curious.

I have to admit that I was completely unaware of this earthquake, although its significance became clear very quickly, with the new techniques that had been developed recently even if the human and material loss was relatively low due to it happening in a scarcely populated area.

Henry Fountain gives a rather complete overview of the different aspects surrounding the 'great quake', looking at it from many different points of view. However, I thought rather a lot of the book was filled with human interest stories which somehow made it feel a little overdramatic. It also took a long time to get to the actual quake and its aftermath. However, I thought it was an interesting book and I would definitely recommend it to those interested in earth quakes and geology.

My Thoughts:

Wow, this is really time consuming, but it does completely take your mind off of everything else. Think paint by numbers, but not wit h paint and offers the user a chance to be more creative. It is like numbered grid paper and you choose what to fill each with whatever you want. This kind of made me a bit crazy because I have a terrible time with choices and will not decide until I have thoroughly thought about every possible option. I sat there with an unused page in front of me for like four hours... Lmao.
