Laws and boundaries can bring greater liberty

The truth is, laws and boundaries can bring greater liberty, and multiply prosperity across all of society. They show limits, and reward good behavior and punish bad behavior. Principles never change, but their practical applications must change with the times. They are to think and act on principle, to obey the laws of the universe, and by extension the laws of the land.Civil laws are not just "made up" - they are a codification of the immutable laws of the universe that are written down in such a way as to be applicable to the times. In their ideal form, boundaries should give liberty by setting the limits and standards of behavior, and therefore allow people to operate more freely within those boundaries.

The preservation and sustainment of Liberty depends on you.Individuals and families are also under the same laws as governments. When individuals, families, and governments set boundaries according to the laws of the universe, that nation will flourish because its citizens are self-governing, its authorities only operate within their jurisdiction, good behavior is rewarded, bad behavior is punished, laws are upheld, principles are adhered to, and liberty is treasured. When boundaries are set according to universal principles, true liberty flourishes, and prosperity abounds. Governments are instituted with limited authority, a limited sphere of influence, and restrictions on their use of power. In societies that value liberty, boundaries are a good thing. It's time to discover liberty or lose it. Parents should govern their families, and individuals should govern themselves, for this is what a nation's liberty is based on.

These limits, and their proper observance, are very important.Anyone who thinks that earthly governments are the highest authorities in operation fails to understand that the laws of the universe go beyond the power of any government. What many do not realize, however, is that boundary lines should be drawn by principles. . There are boundaries for all spheres of life: boundaries on individual behavior, local government, national government, businesses, corporations, etc. Nothing less than the sustainability and vibrancy of world governments are at stake. Boundaries and laws should not be restrictive as they are in countries burdened by oppression or ruled by tyrants. Laws regarding the proper behaviors of horses near saloons are now outdated, but are based on the same principles as laws regarding car-parking etiquette today

Chapter 3

Sharing July 2014 was the most nerve racking month of my life. Finally my fertility treatment which is referred to as IUI, it stands for Intrauterine Insemination and it was going to be done that month. Josh and I could not conceive and I had to resort to using donor sperm. Everything was paid for, the donor was picked and our family and close friends were told. I was over the top excited, happy and ready to start the next chapter. Both Josh and I went to the doctor’s office on a warm July morning and the procedure was done. It's a simple procedure, you lie on a table and the nurse comes in with the vial full of donor sperm, she puts it into some sort of elongated syringe, but instead of a needle it's a long thin tube that goes into your uterus so that the sperm can be placed as close to the egg as possible. Sounds yummy right? The procedure takes no more than fifteen minutes and most of the time is spent just lying on the table. To be completely honest with you, it is an awkward procedure, you take something as intimate as love making and it is turned into an uncomfortable encounter at the doctor’s office. My nerves were all over the place, happy, shy and scared all at once. We waited two weeks for the result and I was to go back into the doctor’s office to find out if I was pregnant. The thing is I started my period just days before the appointment and I lost my cool and completely broke down, and with it I also lost that strength and spark that I had. The morning that I knew that It didn't work, I crept out of bed, clueless to what I was about to discover. In that moment, I felt good, happy and I had to pee so I headed to the washroom. As I wiped, that's when I knew. No, this can't be happening, I sat on the toilet in shock at my unsuspecting discovery, minutes go by and it sinks in. How could you be so stupid Jordan, I got myself excited for nothing, nothing. A tear runs down my cheek and I can't handle it, I wasn't prepared to be disappointed. Minutes go by and I urge myself, okay I can't just sit here, I need to get up. I wash up and head to my room, I can't face Josh; I can't. I crawl into my king size bed and start to sob uncontrollably, god I wanted this so bad, what do I tell him, what do I tell my parents and his? Josh is an early riser and had been up and doing stuff around the house. He must have heard that I was up and comes into the bedroom moments later, "Hey I was waiting for you downstairs what’s..." He sees my face. "What's wrong?" "It didn't work." I look up from the pillow. “What do you mean; are you sure?" "Josh it's too heavy to mistake it for something else, it didn't work." Saying it over again doesn’t help my state and I breakdown again and curl up into a ball. Josh does what any man with a heart does; he stays and holds me. "Jordan it will happen. At least you know now and at least it never was; it would be harder I think if you had actually lost a child." His blue eyes show concern as they look into mine and he gently rubs my back. "I know" is all I can say but his speech doesn't stop the tears rolling down my face. He stays with me for a while but it's of no use. After some time Josh with caution in his voice eventually says. "Jordan I need to head into work, you can either stay here, and be upset over something that never happened or you can get dressed and make something of your day. It will happen." He stops rubbing my shoulder and gets off the bed to get ready. In between sobs I say, "I know, I just need to get this out of my system and I’ll be fine." It was hard in the beginning, telling my family and close friends that it hadn't worked. I got the encouraging speeches; the, it will work next time speeches etc. Hours turned to days, which turned into a couple of weeks and I got passed it by focusing back on promoting myself as an author and getting myself in a state to try again in a month or two. At some point before the weekend Mom and Dad invite me up to camp and I accept their invitation. I could use a break and besides Josh will be working and would rather not stay home alone. I look forward to seeing my mom and dad and spending the weekend up at the river.

C.R. Misty has been writing novels since 2013 and The International Boundaries Series is her first collection of romance novels. “Something Desired” will be the third book to the series. She’s kind of nerdy but that’s okay cause she owns it and admits that she loves reading, writing and watching a good story. She also writes in sci-fi. Other hobbies are painting, gardening and exploring a new hiking trail. She lives with her ruggedly handsome husband and cute Maltese fur baby in Ottawa, Canada which is a really cold place. (she should move somewhere warmer)

Burning Boundaries (Elemental Evidence #2) by Bellora Quinn & Sadie Rose Bermingham
Burning Boundaries - Bellora Quinn,Sadie Rose Bermingham
Burning Boundaries is the second book in the Elemental Evidence series, and we rejoin Jake and Mari as they try to continue their complicated relationship and lives. On top of that, they are also dragged into a situation where someone has spontaneously combusted, which Jake disputes even exists. It does, if you're a Fire Elemental and things have gone screwy. So, with one thing after another, Jake goes undercover whilst Mari does his best not to fret.

I was a bit taken aback by Mari and Jake's relationship at the start of this book, and didn't like Mari much - much to my surprise. Maybe it's because there was a gap between reading books one and two, although that has never been an issue before. I didn't like how he kept Jake on tenterhooks, and played him when Colm and Don where there. Don I liked, Colm I would have happily punched! So yeah, that bit for me? Not so good. The rest of it though, I thoroughly enjoyed. I liked the mystery aspect of it, the mole, the betrayal, the uncertainty. And poor Jake... that's all I'm saying!

Very well written, with no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading flow, I would recommend this to anyone who has read book one, as you will need to read that to understand the world and backgrounds to receive the full enjoyment of the story (imo).

* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. *

Review: Consent (Power Exchange #3) by A.J. Rose
Consent - A.J. Rose

Ben and Gavin are just captivating. They really pulled me through this book. There is so much to say about this book, but I'm really just without words, so I'm not even going to try.

This installment was origanally on my "no-no" list because of some issues that would obviously push my limits,. And they did. I cried my heart out, cringed, was horrified but I also loved the hell out of it. But it was ever so worth it. I'm so glad I started reading this series.

In my opinion it's best to start this book so openminded possible, do-not read spoilers.. For me personally that worked cause | know I would've chickened out knowing what would come.

And just one thing; Myah, honey. You're my hero!!

I'll just end with some beautiful feelings between Ben & Gavin.

Years later, I understood., The point wasn't the climax. It wasn't the two hours or the pleasure derived in the psyical. It was knowin Ben understood everthing there was about me, cherished every single cell that made up my being, and feeling in the essence of who I was that this soul made mine sing,. And I did the same for him.

Pushing the Boundaries - Stacey Trombley

Myra always felt different and like she didn’t fit in as far as her peers went. Myra was a Muslim and her parents were from Palestine. Myra’s mother was a doctor and Myra went on a mission trip with her mother to Haiti  to help in a medical clinic as her mother hoped Myra would become a doctor. But  Myra didn’t want to be a doctor her dream was to become a photographer.  She hoped by winning a photography contest it would provide the money for her to go to photography school. She hoped to get the perfect picture while in Haiti. One shot could do it for Myra. Then Myra met the cute translator and her heard her say he was cute. Myra also felt a lot of things she had never felt before. She didn’t know Elias needed his job to support his family. So his younger siblings could go to school and have a good future. But the number one rule of his employer who didn’t treat him very well was stay away from the Americans. But Elias finds insta / love puppy love whatever with Myra after a few days and breaks the rule.I didn’t particularly like this story for the most part. The story dragged for me at times especially in the beginning. I did like how Elias tried to protect Myra when she puts herself at serious risk. I just don’t feel Elias would sacrifice his family for a girl he had only known a couple days and would be leaving soon.  Matter of fact I loved Elias’s devotion to his family. I didn’t like Myra she was selfish, self centered, thoughtless, careless, and immature. This just wasn’t believable to me.  But I did like how the author brought in the problems in this country and what the people go through. I am sure someone will like this just wasn’t for me.
